As per your query, she can apply in general quota during NEET admission.

The candidate may provide an Adhaar card, a Class XII Board-issued roll number, an Election Card (EPIC No. ), a Ration Card, a bank account passbook with a photo, a passport number, or the number of any other government-issued photo identification card.

  • Candidates must be Indian citizens.

  • The age requirement for NEET is lower. The applicant must be at least 17 years old by December 31, 2022, whichever comes first. The NMC has eliminated the maximum age requirement.

  • After completing 12 years of school, candidates must have completed the higher/senior secondary examination or its equivalent.

  • Candidates must receive a minimum of 50% in PCB subjects (for GEN and GEN-EWS), 45% in PCB subjects (for GEN PH), and 40% in PCB subjects (for SC, ST, and OBC-NCL).

  • Candidates enrolled in the 12th grade may also apply. At the time of the initial round of counselling, they must present passing certificates that meet the required percentage.

  • According to the High Court of Delhi's judgement from last year, NIOS, State Open School, or private applicants are eligible to apply for the NEET test. However, the applicants' eligibility is based on the outcome of the Medical Council of India's special leave applications.

Note: Math scores will not be taken into consideration for admission to MBBS/BDS programmes.

is the rank mentioned in the cutoffs under the category section the category rank or general rank?

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 14th Jul, 2022

Hello

Guessing it's about jee main as per your profile.

Whether CRL or category rank is considered depends upon the counselling you are asking about.

If I tell you about josaa counselling then,

If you are a general category student then CRL rank is considered while if you belong to any other category then your category rank will be considered in josaa counselling

This is because

In josaa counselling

  • CRL  i. e common rank list  rank / overall rank. Crl is considered for josaa counselling in case of general category students.

  • For OBC /SC /ST and EWS :-   If you belong to ews/ obc / sc/st then your category rank is considered in josaa counselling.

  • pwd category :- For pwd category, respective pwd category rank is considered. For example, obc ncl pwd category rank in case of obc ncl pwd candidateand so on.

In CSAB counselling & Jac delhi counselling the cut off mentioned are CRL rank as crl rank is considered and not category rank

To help you further,

To give you an idea of jee main 2022 qualifying cut off,

Minimum percentile in jee main 2021  is given below for different categories :-

--------) general :-87.8992241 percentile

--------) EWS:- 66.2214845 percentile

--------) OBC-NCL :- 68.0234447 percentile

--------) SC :- 46.8825338 percentile

--------) ST:- 34.6728999 percentile

--------) PH :- 0.0096375 percentile

In order to get a personalised report on your chances of getting a college you can go through our college predictor, it will give you complete list of colleges which you can get on the basis of the category you belong to,  your home state, your gender etc, the link for  jee main college predictor is provided below

For Josaa counselling, once it gets started, you will have to go through following steps to participate

--------------------------) Registration :- First of all you will have to visit the josaa official website and then register with the help of your roll number and password .

--------------------------) Choice filling:-You will have to fill the colleges and courses in order of your preferences

--------------------------) Choice locking:-Then you need to lock the colleges you selected

--------------------------) Mock seat allotment:- To help you understand the colleges in which you have chances ,mock seat allotment is conducted before final choice filling and locking

--------------------------) Seat allotment result:- then on the basis of your rank seat allotment takes place.

--------------------------) seat acceptance fees payment :- If you get a seat then you have to download seat allotment letter and then you have to pay 35,000 rupees  as your seat acceptance fees ( it's Rs15,000 if you are from reserved category)

--------------------------) Reporting the report centre :- You have to report to the reporting centre to get your documents verified. You need to carry your original documents along with 2 copies of xerox of each.

--------------------------) admission confirmation :- Finally you have to report to the alloted college  by at least the time of last date of reporting for the college mentioned on seat allotment letter for admission confirmation.

Thank you

i am a 12 th class student whose board exams ended on 13 june (term 1 and term 2) and i am appearing for neet 2022. i am just scoring 400-500 marks in my mock tests. Is there any chance that i can get a govt college through UP state quota general category? or should i take a drop?

rajeevanand843 13th Jul, 2022

Hello aspirants

In neet 2020 final cut off for Gen category students was AIR 16646 and 607 marks. in 2021 lowest cut off for Gen category students was AIR 18298 and 601 marks.

So if you belong to Gen category and want a govt medical College seat through up state counseling you should must aim to score 600+ marks. If you are getting anything low then above marks mentioned then your chances are very low to get govt seat in medical College.

As fresher you are scoring quite well and if you take drop them surely you will score better and you might get govt medical College next year.

Anyway try your best to score maximum marks this year and then after once exam over you can plan for next year.

You can use NEET UG college predictor tool for knowing chances of getting MBBS BDS ayush colleges at your expected marks.
