Yes you may pursue Diploma in radiology .

Radiology is a two years medical course that deals with creating images using modern techniques.

The radiologists focus on diagnosis of the disease while other doctors focus on treatment of the disease.


The equipments used for imaging are x ray machine , CT scan , MRI equipment etc .


Eligibility for the course- The candidate must have passed class xii with minimum 50% marks in physics,  chemistry and biology from any recognized university.

I want to study Bsc radiology science. So how can reach to study on AFMC, what eligiblity to join on it?

AFMC is affiliated to Maharashtra University of Health Sciences.

If you want to pursue bsc in radiology from AFMC ( armed forces medical college ) pune , you will have to fulfill the eligibility criteria for the course .

You must have passed class xii with minimum 50% marks with subjects physics,  chemistry  and biology with English as a language subject.

Entrance exam - you will not need to appear for Neet exam but you will have to appear for AFMC  entrance exam for the course. The  administration will conduct an interview too.


Admissions for the course will be conducted in July 2024

Total Seats available for  the course - 15.
