I secured 89 percent in my 12th boards in pcb and I gave eamcet exam and I got 40k rank in it. Can I get admission in bsc radiology and Im in general catogery

Abhilasha Agrawal 4th Aug, 2025

With 89% in 12th (PCB) and an EAMCET rank of 40,000 (General Category), getting admission in top government colleges for B.Sc Radiology is challenging due to high cutoffs. However, you have fair chances in private medical or paramedical colleges offering B.Sc Radiology courses under management quotas.

You can also explore deemed universities and private health science colleges where admissions are done based on 12th board marks and direct counseling.

Yes, based on your 12th percentage, direct admission to B.Sc. Radiology is possible particularly in private colleges or deemed universities. Most institutes need students to have completed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as core subjects. Although a minimum of 50% above is usually required and could differ depending on colleges.
