hello, actually i m a student of class 12 and i have done 11th from school. presently i have joined a coaching for iit jee i have a doubt that wheter should i change my board from cbse to rbse because it is prefered by most students jn my coaching... pls tell pros and cons if i do so

Manidipa Kundu Student Expert 29th Jun, 2020

hi,

see it should not be a good option to change from cbse, since cbse is centralized board many competitive exams like jee main, icar, neet syllabus is closely related and matches with cbse 12th standard syllabus, so just your coaching class mates are from different board you should not change your board and since already one year of 11th course is completed. if possible you may change your batch to more similar batches of your current coaching institute.

hello, i have 84% in my 12th by pcm from rbse . can i get cs branch in mbm jodhpur through reap belong from obc. because in 2020 reap doesnt consider jee mains score or suggest me some govt collages

Shubham Gaur 29th Jul, 2020

Hello Aspirant,

You are right about REAP not considering JEE Mains Score however MBM still consider JEE Mains score along with the REAP. In that case, if you want CSE in MBM you need to have a JEE Mains score. Also, a large number of applications in MBM maintains a high JEE cutoff.

However, the are some other prestigious institutes which allow admission through REAP viz. GEC Bikaner, RTU Kota and engineering college, Ajmer.

Hope this will help.

Thanks

Sir I have passed 12th Rbse board by 55% so which government engineering college I have eligible??

S. Saha Student Expert 9th Jul, 2020
There are less chances that you'll get any government engineering college as admission to government colleges are done through entrance exam, be it state level or national level. But you may get private colleges which offer admission on the basis of marks obtained in 12th and without any entrance exam. Some universities conduct their own entrance exam for admission, like Nirma University Jaipur, BITS Pilani you can appear for these exams to get admission in these colleges. http://engineering.careers360.com/colleges/list-of-private-engineering-colleges-in-rajasthan
Government engineering colleges of Rajasthan like University College of Engineering and Technology, Bikaner, College of Technology and Engineering, Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture and Technology, Udaipur, Government Engineering College, Ajmer, MBM Engineering College, Jodhpur and http://engineering.careers360.com/colleges/list-of-government-engineering-colleges-in-rajasthan offer admission through Jee Main or Rajasthan Pre engineering Test.

sir can I change my borad in 12th class rbse to cbse .10th class I had cbse borad. Now I am doing neet preparation.

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 28th May, 2020

You cannot change your Board in your 12th class. You need to study in the same board for both 11th and 12th. For example if you have studied your 11th in RBSE, you cannot change your Board to CBSE in your 12th. You either need to continue to study in RBSE or start 11th and 12th again from CBSE.

Every state or every educational board provides passing certificates to the students who pass the board exam in their respective place. If you have not got it then please talk to the senior faculties of your college and truly believe they will help you with that.

I hope this helps.
