how many marks I get in total in jee main 2020 only reading ncert books.

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 25th May, 2020
Abhijit, 97-98% of the questions are asked from NCERT books alone. The rest 2-3% are from other books. Assuming that you only study NCERT books, you should be able to answer 98% of the questions. But because there is no negative marking, you will not lose out on any incorrect answers. You get to save every point that you scored. Now what you will score depends on what you have learnt. So even if you go by NCERT books, your preparation level is what decides how much you score in the exam. But on a general note, if you follow NCERT books you will score 200 and above. whether Starting bank preparation at age 20 with scratch in almost everything specially in English grammer and news paper reading is Okay or considered late ? I started at age 18 but due to inconsistency and fear of losing not done anything is ideal age to start from scratch is age 20 or 19?

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 23rd May, 2020
Ayush, because we have already discussed 'how late' depends on your thinking, we shall skip that part and help you with improving your Verbal Ability and Grammar section. In Verbal Ability session, command on your English, Grammar, Vocabulary, Understanding of the given paragraph are of more importance. Reading English NewsPaper will also help you in your preparation. Read articles from time to time. Follow newspapers, magazines, and watch the news channels and browse the internet to keep yourself updated. You will need a lot of reading to help you in the comprehension section. You will need speed to help you in this section and you can achieve that only by thorough practise and reading. Take time to understand the question because most answers are interlinked.

Books that might help you are:

Word Power Made Easy (by Norman Lewis)
This is the go-to book to improve your vocabulary. It is not a book to be read but a book to work with daily to enrich your vocabulary.

High School Grammar and Composition( by Wren and Martin)
It is a very good book for people who want to improve their grammar skills. It helps to understand and conceptualise different aspects of grammar and it is a must have book for anyone with poor grasp on verbal ability or who wants to make up with the basics of english.

how many marks will i get by reading only ncert books in jee mains

harsh Student Expert 23rd May, 2020

Hello dear

First of all just reading any of the book will not help you to score good marks in jee mains because jee exam is one of the important exam in India through which admission in NIT  AND IIIT s and other Various college in btech course.

This exam filters those students who are better than others. And you need a lots of practice to give them competition.

NCERT book provides you a good stuff and a good basics but the practice you require can not be fulfill by only this because there are not so much question available. Matha book is good their are a number of question available for practice

But instead of it you should move towards other good books also which helps you to build your concepts and you can solve any questions on that concepts .

But apart from  this if you restrict yourself to the NCERT book only than you may score good marks it will depend upon your natural talent and your understanding and responding power .

But averagely you can score near about 100 marks.

So good luck

Do you advise the test takers to read the questions first before reading the passage for reading comprehension in LSAT India exam?

People believe that reading questions first is helpful and that will save time and that makes sense theoretically but my hunch is that for most people anyway that it is actually not going to work out very well because what is going to happen is that if you try to read the questions and then you read the passage and then you go back to the questions and you still wouldn't know the answer. You will have to go back to the passage. So you have to read the questions one time more than you need to. One thing to remember is that time is very precious in this test. It is a tough test and a good number of questions in the section and you don't have a lot of time so you have just a minute or two per question so you really should not waste your time. Time management is absolutely critical so reading questions first may work for some people and may work for some kinds of tests, our passages are not conducive to that practice because they are so dense and they have so many ideas in them and they are complex. The answers are not just going to pop off the screen at you once you read the passage. You really need to focus on the passage first and then go and tackle the questions.

what is the best way..first to complete all the concepts and after completing solving the problems or simultaneously reading the concept and solving the problems???

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 20th May, 2020
You haven't mentioned the subject or Entrance exam you are enquiring about. But anything can be mastered only by practise. Instead of learning all the concepts once and then practising them all together, it is good you learn a concept, practise it couple of times before you move to the next topic and next concept. Because then you can immediately check what you have learned and how much you have understood the concept. This is also a way to increase the memory power.

By reading eamcet previous papers arihant Ts we get rank below 1000 for eamcet examination ???

lubhan cherwoo 20th Apr, 2020

hi,

a single book won't help you to score below 1000, that said try focusing as much as possible on maths and chemistry mainly.

Read IPE textbook for chemistry, its the best or refer Narayana/Sri Chaitanya materials. In maths, you need to solve the previous years’ questions, suggested book material is narayana material (upto Level 3) to have a better grip over the concepts.

For physics If this subject  interests you the least, then read the topics which you understand and seem easy to you, Don’t focus much on the difficult areas here.
