Candidates have to use their valid GATE scores to be shortlisted for job. Some companies use the GATE scores as a direct means for recruitment. However, some companies use scores for shortlisting after which an interview, test or GD may be held to make the final recruitment decision.

Eyesight should be normal(6/6)
The minimum age limit to apply for is 18 years.

here is the difference between direct and indirect recruitment,
Direct Recruitment is essentially where candidates are directly recruited from their respective college/university campus. In this method of recruitments the company approaches the college and then takes aptitude tests and interviews to selects a suitable candidate for their company.
Whereas in indirect recruitment , candidates are indirectly recruited via advertisements in newspapers , journals, company websites and sometimes even social media.
