LBRCE Mylavaram has a well-equipped library. The library has a vast collection of textbooks, reference books, national and international journals, periodicals, newspapers, magazines, etc. The LBRCE Mylavaram library also subscribes to national print journals, magazines, e-journals and e-books. All departments have departmental libraries, which are supported by the Central Library. The library follows an open access system that allows users to browse freely in the stock area. In the Central Library, the institute has a digital library with 40 computers. It has a collection of e-journals and e-books like IEEE, ASCE, ASME, ELSEVIER, SPRINGER NATURE, DELNET and INFLIBNET N- list. 

CEG has 17 Departments and 17 Research Centres where research programs are offered. With close ties with industry, excellent research practices and multiple extra-curricular options, the institution advances the progression of the student's quest for knowledge. College of Engineering, Guindy admissions to the M.Phil admissions are done on the basis of candidates performance in the qualifying exam. Later, allotment of seats will be through online counselling following the rule of reservation of the Government of Tamil Nadu.
