in which languages BAMS is taught in RGUHS . Is there any language barrier? can one from north India will face difficulty in learning bams ?

theeanonymous 31st Oct, 2020

Hello Aspirant,

The main medium of communication  in any college would be English with an occasional inclusion of the regional language ,it may also differ with the faulty . And regarding BAMS, a more than sufficient level of sanskrit language is needed during the course because you will have shlokas to learn . So both sanskrit and English are vital as far as BAMS is concerned if you have not learned sanskrit , I would suggest that you start right away if you plan on becoming an ayurvedic doctor , and of course in between you can expect a little bit of the regional language . More than not knowing the regional language , not knowing sanskrit is going to be troublesome in BAMS. As far as Rajiv Gandhi Institute is concerned the medium of instruction and examination is english ,but for BAMS in general you need both english and sanskrit .

All the best

Hello Chetan kumar,

As the question you have asked does have any perfect answer, although as you have mentioned that you are in B.Pharma final year, so I must tell you to prepare for the exams, As according to the government of india education ministry department ,they are not in the mood of giving free certificate of Bachelor's degree program. As they don't want to put a tag of COVID-19 pass-out in your certificate, because it will hamper you in future when you are applying for the jobs in different sectors.

So, i would like to tell you that prepare for the exams and give your best if the exams are going to happen.

Hope you will find it relevant.

Fell free to ask any further queries.
