Priya Patel 14th Oct, 2021

Hello

See to go for SRCE, Coimbatore college is quite worthy. This is because SRCE have good infrastructure in terms of labs and libraries. You will find more specialized teacher in SREC. Also the placements are moderate but the average placement package is high for SREC. So I would recommend you to go for SREC.

**Before taking any decision you should conduct some research.

Amandeep 23rd Nov, 2021

Dear Student,

Automation and Robotics Engineering has become one of the top most career choices among the aspirants. As an independent branch of engineering, robotics deals with design, construction, operation, and application of robots. Basically, this field puts emphasis on the design of modern Robotic systems. Like many other engineering disciplines, Automation and Robotics Engineering has greatly influenced human life.

Core Subjects:

  • Digital Electronics
  • Sensors and Instrumentation
  • Basics of Robotics
  • Electrical Machines and Power Systems
  • Environmental Science and Engineering
  • Automatic Control Systems

After successful completion of B.Tech. Excellent higher studies options for robotics are available in India. Renowned institutes like IIT Kanpur, IIT Bombay, IIT Madras and IIT Kharagpur, IIT Allahabad, Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science offer postgraduate technical degree (MTech) in Automation and Robotics Engineer. Maximum we can get through GATE exam.

Thankyou.

which course I have to do for robotics in bits pilani?

Ritvik Baweja 22nd Nov, 2021

If you mean Robotics as a branch of engineering, then BITS Pilani does not offer it. But that doesn't in any way mean that you can't pursue robotics from BITS Pilani. What I mean by that is that there are a lot of ways in which you can learn robotics from BITS. Firstly, there are two technical teams called Team Robocon and Team Acyut in BITS. These teams participate in international robotics competitions. Team Acyut makes a humanoid robot \U0001f916 and Team Robocon makes a robot according to the problem statement of the competition. Both these teams do great work and make amazing robots.

Now, do you need to be a part of these teams to know and learn about robotics? Absolutely not. You can definitely even learn about robotics on your own as there are lots of people available here to help you. First of all, there are seniors who are always there to guide you and give you a direction. You can seriously learn a LOT from seniors here. Apart from that, there obviously are professors here who are very knowledgeable about robotics and are even doing research on it. They are also always there to help in any way they can. You can very easily approach any such person and they will be ready to help you.

So there are plenty of ways in which you can pursue robotics from BITS Pilani

Can I pursue a M.tech in Robotics and Artificial intelligence after doing a B.tech in Mathematics and Computer science

Mghv 12th Oct, 2021

Dear Sengathir,

Yes you can pursue M.tech in AI(Artificial Intelligence) after B.tech in computer science and maths. As the required eligibility for M.tech is 50% aggregate in B.tech Computer science only. If you have this eligibility , go for it.

Artificial intelligence is one of the best fields in today's world. The job opportunities with good packages also there are several types of research taking place, especially in Artificial intelligence field.

Talking about pursuing a Master of technology-focused in Robotics and Artificial Intelligence after pursuing a B.Tech in production engineering, there is no issue in pursuing M.Trch from a different field. All you need to do is to understand things well and also try to study on your own in meantime.

Below I have enlisted some colleges for Masters In Artificial Intelligence, have a look at them:-

  • IIT Hyderabad
  • IIT Ropar
  • Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology, Delhi
  • Defence Institute of Advanced Technology, Pune

Also you can go for IITs or NITs specifically. The choice is yours. Choose wisely.

Hope this sorted your query.

Good Luck :)
