robots
hi,
see robotics engineering is an Interdisciplinary stream, students from any of the branch may change their career to robotics engineering. since you studied Electrical and electronics engineering is diploma stream, you may pursue b.tech course is electronics and communication engineering or EEE , I would prefer Ece FOR future career in robotics engineering. however for m.tech course you need to appear in gate exam from ece or cse paper, you may opt for m.tech in robotics engineering or embedded system to make a career in robotics development. IIT kanpur offers m.tech in robotics and automation. so start preparing to reach your destination.
hope it would help.
Hello candidate,
Robotic engineering is one of the most futuristic fields of study which has a huge scope of opportunity in the near future.
Robotics engineering as the term suggest is related to the use of artificial Intelligence and Computer technology to feed information to the human made machines called as robots such that they can perform the task as per their instructions.
Currently, there is not the same scope for robotic engineering as compared to mechanical engineering but companies like Tesla motors, space x, are some of those who are providing opportunities in this field.
Hope it helps!!
Robotic types can be narrowed down to five types: Cartesian, Cylindrical, SCARA, 6-Axis and Delta. Each industrial robot type has specific elements that make them best-suited for different applications. The main differentiators among them are their speed, size and workspace .
see artificial intelligence and robotics is combination of electronics and communication engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical and electronics engineering, so if you want to work in core department, then you may have to do mtech after b.tech which is high career growth and wide research area options, now coming to chip design you may do some hands on experience while doing btech in electronics and communication engineering, since there is many software related with ece , and vlsi technology subject is taught in 3rd year of electronics and communication engineering course. so taking ECE would be right for you as per your interest.
