See for the examinations you have mentioned the age limit is 20 to 28 for the Clerk examination and for PO its 21 to 30. Now if we add the age relaxation of 5 years as SC category, then the upper age stands for 35 years. Now you are at the age of 32 years +. So you are eligible for the IBPS PO, RRB, SBI PO and you have only one attempt left for the SBI CLERK, RRB CLERK.

Hello,

The age wise eligibility criteria for IBPS Examination is as following -

- The Upper Age limit for the Examination is fixed at 30 years but certain candidates have been provided relaxation.

• SC/ST candidates -  5 years

• OBC category from the non-creamy layer3 years

• Persons With Disabilities - 10 years

-SC/ST and OBC candidates can apply for a maximum of two cumulative exemptions.

- If an ST candidate also has a physical disability, then a maximum of 15 years will be relaxed for the upper age limit. No other exemptions will be allowed.

- Candidates need to produce certificates affirming their exemption category during the time of the interview to be eligible for the bank PO post.

----- Since you would turn 33 this year, you sare still eligible for the IBPS Examination.

Academic eligibility criteria is as following :

The institute specifies that candidates who wish to appear for the IBPS PO exam should at least have a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.

I hope you find the answer helpful.

Thank you.

Dear SBI JA aspirant

The first thing you should know is:

As you are not even 22 yet, here is the age limit details for the exam:

Not below 20 years and not above 28 years

and relaxation of age for various communities are as follows:  SC/ST-5 years, OBC- 3 years, PWD(Gen)-10 years, PWD (SC /ST)-15 years, PWD (OBC) - 13 years, Persons ordinarily domiciled in Jammu & Kashmir State during the period from 01.01.1980 to 31.12.1989- 5 years, Ex-Servicemen/Disabled Ex-Servicemen- Actual period of service rendered in defense services + 3 years, (8 years for Disabled Ex-Servicemen belonging to SC/ST) subject to max. age of 50 years, Widows, Divorced women and women judicially separated from their husbands & who are not remarried- 9 years (subject to maximum age limit of 35 years for General, 38 years for OBC & 40 years for SC/ST candidates).  So, Your age is not too late at all and you should go for the next attempt with all the preparations. There is no age limit to improve knowledge and improving English (written+communication skills) won't just help in this particular exam but in all aspects of your life.

Now,

The weightage of different sections are divided as such:

General English- 40 marks, Quantitative Aptitude- 50 marks, Reasoning Ability and Computer Aptitude- 60 marks, General awareness- 50 marks

Total marks= 200

Improve the English and GA part and try again

All The Best
