For Sardar Patel University, the admission procedure for all M.Sc. Programmes starts in the month of May/June with advertisement by the university in local leading newspapers and on the University website (spuvvn.edu).
Candidates have to follow the procedure given in the prospectus and filling up the application forms for their admission in to M. Sc. Programs Botany/ Biochemistry/ Biotechnology/ Microbiology/Zoology) of the Department.

In case of Admissions for M.Sc. (Industrial Biotechnology) are given by the Department of Biotechnology Government of India, New Delhi through the nodal agency Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi.
Admissions are given to the students qualifying in the JNU/DBT conducted Entrance examination on the basis of their merit and preference. Admission process by JNU with details and prospectus are available on JNU website.
