Hi ,

In NEET 2021,the total number of candidates who appeared for the exam is 15,44,275 .It is not possible to provide information about only one category and one state. However I can give you all over details about how many students appeared in National eligibility and entrance test in the year 2021.There were total 3800 centres  and 16.14 lakh registered for the exam. So the total number of SC students who appeared from Karnataka in NEET 2021 could be predicted only after the counselling procedure.

is there is any special round for allotment of preparatory college for preparatory rank sc students or we get college for preparatory course in jossa counselling according to sc(male) preparatory rank ? please reply it is very big confusion

Anurag Khanna 16th Oct, 2021

Hello Aspirant,

No there is no any special round for the allotment of preparatory seats. You have to under the entire process of JOSAA counselling to get even preparatory seats and also note that only your Preparatory rank does not ensures your preparatory seat allotment but you should have decent preparatory rank like if you belongs to SC then your preparatory rank should be under 500, then only you can expect some good IITs.

From today the registration for JOSAA counselling will be started and the complete process for registration for JOSAA Counselling is mentioned below :-

  • Registration for the counselling on josaa.nic.in
  • Choice Filling and Locking of Choices.
  • Mock Seat Allotment
  • Seat Allotment Result
  • Payment of Seat Acceptance Fees and Download of Provisional Seat Allotment Letter
  • Reporting to the Reporting Centres
  • Confirmation of Admission

Are there any scholarships in iit for sc students??..

ayanmukherjee045 15th Oct, 2021

Dear aspirant,

There are many scholarships available in the IITs/nits for the sc/st category students including fee remission on the basis of annual family income.

If the family income is less than 5L and greater than 1L then his/her 2/3rd of tuition fees will be waived off. If someone has family income below 1L then his full tuition fees will be waived off.

Other than this there are many merit based scholarships too and students can claim that if they clear the required eligibility criteria.

In a first, the exam was also held at a centre each in Dubai and Kuwait.

Hope this helps.

For sc students in karnataka neet score 407 get seat in government colleges

Ritvik Baweja 10th Nov, 2021

No I am afraid 407 marks won't fetch you seat in government medical college in Karnataka even with the SC quota , as per the last year's trends the last student from Karnataka from SC quota to get medical seat had score in the range 500-520

However at 407 you can certainly try for government BDS , BAMS or BHMS colleges and also try for private medical college in Karnataka itself

Do refer this link for affordable private medical colleges in Karnataka

Till how much rank SC Students can get seat.

Jaspreet Singh Bhatiya 30th Sep, 2021

Hello,

I hope you are doing well,

It is difficult to predict because the cut offs are changing every year depending on various factors such as: -

1.Number of students appearing in JEE MAINS,

2.Available seats,

3.The performance of different students in the test,

4.sub-category etc.

But yes,

You can predict using the following link:
