Diploma in Food Science and Technology is a very useful course as according to an IBEF report, India's food processing industry ranks sixth in the world in terms of production, consumption, export, and predicted growth, accounting for 32 percent of the country's food market.
Furthermore, India's food processing industry is one of the world's largest, with revenues estimated to exceed INR 40 thousand billion by 2025-26. It is also predicted to generate 9 million jobs by 2024.
After completing 12th grade or an equivalent level, students can pursue food technology courses at the diploma, undergraduate, and postgraduate levels. Some of the Certification courses, however, can be taken after the tenth grade.
The eligibility of the course is your 10th or 10+2th obtained marks, on the basis of which you will be allotted a seat.

This colleges approved by UGC and NAAC accrediated college and affiliated to the APJ Abdul Kalam technological University, Thiruvananthapuram Kerala. InfraStructure is very good with nice,cool and calm and education friendly campus. Faculties are very good. With their technical expertise they guide the student for betterment for their future of action and education.
Placement is 75% successful. Companies like Infosys, byju's, TCS, IBM visited regularly for campus interview and to recruit their job personalty. The average Salary they get 6.5 lakhs to 7. 5 lacs of rupees per annum.

i would like to tell you that the previous years category-wise GATE cutoff for M.tech in Food Science and Technology was as follows :
General- 29.9 . OBC (NCL)- 26.9 . SC, ST & PwD- 19.9
But please note that the above prediction is solely made on the previous year trends, which may vary for this year.
