DO WE HAVE TO PAY SECURITY DEPSOIT RS.2 LAKHS SEPARATELY FOR AIQ AND STATE COUNSELLING FOR PRIVATE AND DEEMED COLLEGE

Chelsie G 23rd Jul, 2025

Yes, you have to pay the 2 lakh security deposit separately for AIQ counselling (for deemed universities) and again for state counselling (if the state requires it). These are two different counselling authorities, so their processes and payments are handled separately.

For example, if you're applying through MCC for deemed universities, you’ll pay 2 lakh there. If you’re also applying for private colleges through a state counselling like Maharashtra or Tamil Nadu, that state might also ask for its own security deposit. So yes, you might end up paying both.

Yes, if you don’t get a seat in any of the rounds, your security deposit of Rs. 2 lakh will be refunded.

The refund is usually done after the counselling process is over. Make sure your bank details are correct in your application.

What is the security deposit for MBBS admission through Maharashtra State CET Cell if Im opting only for government medical colleges?

Chelsie G 19th Jul, 2025

In Maharashtra, MBBS admission under the state quota for government medical colleges does require a refundable security deposit. As per the official guidelines, candidates must pay 10,000 when they are allotted a government college seat. This deposit is separate from the registration fee and is refundable provided you report to the allotted college and comply with counselling rules.

You don’t need to worry about any additional non-refundable charges if you make the deposit and join according to the schedule. Just ensure you follow the process properly, and the security deposit will be returned after completing the admission formalities.

Pradeepa P 5th Jul, 2025

During UP AYUSH counselling, candidates must pay:

A non-refundable registration fee of rupees 2,000 for General and OBC categories, and rupees 1,500 for SC and ST categories.

A security deposit of rupees 20,000 is required for government AYUSH colleges and rupees 50,000 for private AYUSH colleges. If you choose to apply for both, you must pay rupees 50,000.

This security deposit is refundable if you do not take the allotted seat or withdraw as per counselling rules. However, if you accept the seat and later resign after joining the college, the deposit may be forfeited based on state counselling regulations.

I got 14k rank in eamcet can I get cse cyber security or cse in Vishnu womans college?in bc-d category female

Sonakshi Kumari 1st Jul, 2025

Hello Aspirant,

With an EAMCET rank of 14000 under the BC-D female category, you have a fair chance for admission into CSE – Cyber Security and a moderate chance for CSE (General) at Sri Vishnu Engineering College for Women, Bhimavaram. Based on expected 2025 trends, the cutoff for CSE – Cyber Security may range between 13000 and 15000, where your rank fits well. However, the closing rank for CSE (General) under the BC-D female category was around 7300 in past years, which may make it challenging to get that branch under the regular category. It is recommended to prioritize CSE – Cyber Security during choice filling and participate in all rounds of counselling for better chances.

All the best for your counselling!

Do I have to pay the security deposit fees at the time of registration of Neet ug Councelling on Madhya Pradesh? Or After allotment of seat?

gopi 2nd Jul, 2025

Hello Aspirant,

In the case of Madhya Pradesh NEET UG counselling, the security deposit is not applicable at the start. The security deposit is generally made before the choice filling stage, but only by those candidates who wish to be considered for seat allotment. If you do not pay the security deposit, you will not be considered for seat allotment so must be paid before the seat allotment, not after.
