It’s difficult to tell you the exact about your admission possibilities but as per the

previous year cutoff as a general category the chance seems less to get a seat in NITs,

IIITs & GFTIs however you can try for state counseling like Punjab, Haryana, MP, Etc.

Yes you can easily get admission in shibpur university in physics honours because your score is too good to get you in this. Eligibility to get admission in shibpur university is 55% and 60% for different categories and your score here is 90% which is far more than that.

So yes you not need to worry about your admission if you have high interest in it and you really want to do course with physics honours and too by shibpur university do apply ASAP. Because it will increase your chances for admission or say you will get preference first in admission process.

see the institute you have mentioned as jadavpur university, iiest shipur, nit durgapur both are excellent institute as far their placement, curriculum, infrastructure, college life every thing. however I have arrange the orders of the college keeping in mind of the latest demanding engineering, streams and students review.

Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology (IIEST), Shibpur was established in the year 1856. IIEST was formerly known as Bengal Engineering College (BE College). No there is no other way to get admissions in IIEST shibpur. You have too give JEE mains exam and get the cut off rank. Candidates should appear and qualify for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main). Based on the marks scored in JEE Main, candidates have to register for IIEST Shibpur's official website to participate in the counselling process.

Hi Candidate! Jadavpur University is better than IIEST Shibpur. Jadavpur University has good facilities of faculties, infrastructure, culture, academics as compare to IIEST . And of we talk about placements I don't think IIEST Shibpur has better status than JU. IIEST is good college but still they don't have good placements.

I would recommend you to choose Jadavpur University rather than IIEST.
