Solve past years papers. Read newspapers everyday. Refer magazines. Know all the policies and schemes released by the government.
  • If you don't want to continue civil services studies then you can prepare for entrance exam like GATE to get admission for M. Tech Biotechnology in various institutions across India like IIT, IISc, NITs and other reputed colleges.
  • If you want to prepare for Masters in foreign countries then you can prepare for GRE.
  • There is an exam called DBT BET which provides fellowship for biotech students pursuing research in universities and / or research institutions in the country. They also provide monthly stipend to the students.
  • If you like to teach students then teaching is also a good profession. You can apply in various schools or colleges or universities for teaching as profession.
  • Bioinformatics is also a good career option after B. Tech Biotechnology . Biotechnology as Bioinformatics plays an important role in biomedical research. The scope for biomedical research is increasing day by day so this can also be a good career option .
