To become a software engineer which branch is good CSE or IT

ayanmukherjee045 6th Jan, 2021

Dear aspirant,

According to your question both the branches are one and the same. It totally depends on your area of interest in which you want to go.

Some subjects would be different in the branches as one of the branch is core cse and the other is a part of it.

So it doesn't really matter which branch you choose between any two. You can go with any of these branches and according work in your field of interest.

can I become a software engineer with ece branch

U. Janani 6th Jan, 2021

Hi!

Yes, you can become a Software Engineer after Electronics and Communication Engineering if you have a sound knowledge in Programming Languages and Coding. If you know Java, C, C++ and Python as most of the IT Companies prefer these, then you are good to go! If your college has placements from IT companies give it a try, have a good score. There are various IT Companies like Infosys, CTS, TCS, Accenture, Wipro, etc,.

You can also try Nokia, Siemens, where VLSI Design in making the Integrated Circuit will help you. So you can become a Software Engineer in an Electronic Field!

Hope this is helpful!

All the best!

What would you prefer after CSE(software developer, software engineer) : job or Masters? and why? If its a job then which companies? foreign or national?

U. Janani 28th Dec, 2020

Hi!

Nowadays there is a lot of competition among Students as lakhs of Engineers graduate in the same year and same time! So, you must make yourself competent amongst others to make your way through. Having B.E. / B.Tech. Degree is not enough these days! So if you want to make yourself more improved then go ahead with M.E. / M.Tech. Or if you give more importance to job, then try to get placed in your college placements. Some IT based companies are Infosys, CTS, TCS, Wipro, Accenture, Walmart, Tech Mahindra, etc,. So, choose what you desire!

Hope this is helpful!
