Hello Lalit
Since you want to become a software engineer,so you need to do B.tech with CSE. For that you will have to choose Maths With Science as subjects in 11th-12th. As you don't like maths, then it is very difficult to be an engineer as maths is compulsory subject and most important for engineering students. Practice more and more. Have great command in it. Make sure, you have good knowledge of physics and chemistry too. You can not ignore these subjects while aiming for software engineer.
Hope you find these information helpful.
All the very best.
Thank u!!
Hello,
The career is always a person's own choice to go forward. In todays modernized world it is very demanding to have a background on BE CSE. A software engineer actually able to do anything that a software developer does, but with a different design philosophy. Software engineers take a bigger picture view than a software developers. So being as an engineers that will be a wise choice. But rest is your own decision.
Hope for the best.
Thank you.
Hello aspirant
Software engineering course is a four years graduation course.
To become a software engineer, you will have to choose Science stream after STD x and then you must study for Physics, chemistry and mathematics all NG with English as compulsory subjects in STD xii. You will have to appear for entrance exam such as Jee main or CET. These exams are entry to engineering colleges , without entrance exam, you won't get admission in engineering colleges. Preparation for jee main is started along with study of board exams in std xi and xii. So one has to work hard these two years to become software engineer. Now and if get good score in jee main, you will get good colleges like NIT Mumbai, NIT kanpur etc.
The average fees for the course varies depending upon college and University. Usually it is Minimum 5 lakh for for years in private colleges and between 1-1.5 lakh in government colleges.
hey,
in order to be an engineer of any field you need to have an B.tech degree , no BCA graduates are known as engineers , i agree B.C.A and computer science engineering both are coding oriented courses but the one who have B.tech in computer science known as engineer .
so if you are planning be a software engineer then i would suggest you to choose B.tech computer science
hope this helps
good luck!
A Computer Science Graduate has various posts, job roles and responsibilities not only software engineer. There are various positions in a company for CSE graduate few of them are database administrator, systems analysts, Software developer, web developer so on and so forth. It is not limited to software engineering alone. There are various career opportunity that you can explore. The responsibilities and positions in a company depends on the service/product they are providing. The salary also vary.
In order to join engineering stream you must choose PCM in 10+1 and 10+2. Then, you need to qualify national level entrance exam jee mains and jee advanced in order to get admission in most reputed colleges. You can also go for university level entrance exams if you have already decided to take admission in a specific university. Then, there are many branches in computer engineering stream such as cyber security, data science, ethical hacking, CSE, AI and machine learning etc. You must choose them wisely as per your interest.

hi,
see there is two ways for you to become a software engineer, either you go for b.sc course in computer science which follows by an master of computer application course of 2 years. another path is you may go for bachelors in computer application course follows by master of computer application i.e MCA course.
however you may also do m.sc in computer science course , then join for master of technology in computer science. however you must select a tier 1 institute to study where placement records is good.
there is many start up companies hires bca graduates as a software engineer, you may do some web development or software programming courses to enhance your skills and job security. but top mncs has most priority for btech / mca degree holders.
This is the first time, the college is taking admission on the basis of class12 marks,so we can't predict anything.
But seeing your marks, you definitely have very bright chances of getting the asked branch.
Hope that helps;
