hello everyone,im working in Bosch as software engineer and my experience is 1 year. I want to do MBA. Suggest me whether to continue or not

Monish Basaniwal Student Expert 11th Aug, 2019

Hello Prasanna,

We understand your concern. Please note that MBA is an excellent choice of field especially for the IT industry. As engineers like you can then get the position of Product management and product architect jobs which gives you a more experience than just a normal programming job. If you have no burden financially, i would say it is a very good opportunity for you to take this up.All the best!

Sir I had completed my graduation degree of 3 years.how can I became a software engineer.what are the technical knowledge should i know .

athira_1490858591 Student Expert 7th Aug, 2019

Hi Naresh,

Your further steps to become a software engineer depends on what course you pursued in your undergraduation. If it was BCA you can go for MCA to become a software engineer at a reputed place. If your course had no link to software yet, you have to pursue B.tech which again is possible only if you had science in yoir 11th and 12th. Otherwise you can also go for a diploma in fields related to computer science to get average jobs in the field.

The skills you mainly require are programming in C, C++, Python, Java etc and Debugging.

All the best!

Sir What is the future for Computer Science and Engineering

Lasya_1491387620 Student Expert 14th Jul, 2019

Hello Aspirant,

computer science engineering deals with the hard ware and software of the computer. As a CSE graduate i would say that there are many employments from service based companies.

Many technologies like cloud computing, Artificial intelligence, machine learning are trending now and lasts for many years. Computer engineer should not only study for the employment alone but also for the knowledge and the importance of the technolgies and the implementation.

The future of CSE will be very good based on jobs opportunities, technology development and many..

Hope this will help you. Good Luck.

I took commerce in 11th with Mathematics but i have no interest in this stream so after 12th can i get admission in DU for software engineer

harshitasharansrivastava Student Expert 18th Aug, 2019
Hello aspirant,

If you are not interested in Commerce, then you must immediately change your stream . Loss of one year is admissible as compared to loss of your entire life.. You must talk to your teachers and parents regarding this immediately. Also you won't be getting admission in delhi university for software engineering too as you do not have physics and chemistry as your subject.

So I'll suggest you to change your stream asap and wish you good luck..

By taking electrical and computer engineering (ECM) , we can get software engineer job?

muskan pardasani 4th Jul, 2019

Hi Roshan

Yes you can definitely get a job of a software engineer. Engineering has no boundations of branch, you can go for any non core job besides your branch. The companies that come for recruitments allow people from non CS branch to appear for the interviews. Also, considering the branch you wish to take up, i.e., Electrical, let me tell you that this branch runs parallel to CSE. Also, there isn't anything like there are only people under cse department that have work alloted, there are many kinds of work you could take up as a software engineer.

I hope this helps you. Feel free to ask any other queries.

I want to become a software engineer, but many are into CSE and there is much competition.so,is it better to take CSE or ECE

Trilok Meena 2nd Jul, 2019

Hello aspirant ... If you really wants to become a software engineer than you have to choose cse and there is no competition issue because in cse branch you  will study about software development etc.. but in ece branch you have to study about electronic components there is a little programming involved in this couse but it's not sufficient to be a better software engineer...

Can an ECE student become a software engineer?

Jay Rajesh Hiray 2nd Jul, 2019

Hello...

Yes, you can become a software engineer...

It doesn't rely upon which stream you are on the off chance that you need to progress toward becoming coder. If you see Sundar pichai he himself was a matalargy Engineer and Microsoft's Satya nadella,he was mechanical Engineer.

Only an insignificant degree won't support you however investing energy with individuals who code, interfacing with them will get you in a more greater spot.

Hope these will be usefull...

All the best!!
