It depends on your choice, if you are starting from the scratch go for a certificate course as it will build up your foundation. A certificate course trains you in a specific area and helps you obtain necessary skills without years of schooling. It is generally completed under a year.

On the other hand, diploma is achieved after completing classes and hands on experience in a specific field. It usually takes longer than the certificate course. And doing a diploma course after a certificate course helps you strengthen your foundation.

There are very few Colleges in India which offers Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Spanish Language. The average fees for this course is Rs. 6,000 to Rs. 1,00,000. There is good scope for BA in Spanish

Among those Colleges Centre for Distance and Online Education, Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh is best. The fee for this course is Rs. 7,625. To apply for this course in this College you need to apply either online or offline. The candidates must pass in 10+2 from any stream from a recognised Board. The admission is based on merit obtained in 12 th standard.

There are no specific questions about other countries like of their culture, tradition etc. The entrance exam is conducted regardless of the course you want to opt for.

SPANISH Recommended Textbooks: M. Cerrolaza, O. Cerrolaza, B. Llovet, Pasaporte Nivel 1/A1, Libro de alumno, cuaderno de ejercicios, CD), Ediciones EDELSA, Madrid, 2009. Or J. Corpas, Aula 1. (Libro de alumno, cuaderno de ejercicios, CD).Madrid, 2010 Virgilio Borobio, Nuevo ele inicial 1 y 2 (Libro del alumno, cuaderno de ejercicios, casete), Ediciones SM, Madrid, 2005.

Certificate Course in Spanish is a full-time certification course in the Spanish Language. The duration of this course is 1 year divided into 2 semesters.Candidates who have completed 10+2 (12th examination) or equivalent examination from a recognized board with a minimum 50% of marks are eligible to apply for Certificate Course in Spanish course.

Spain Embassy offers such kind of courses aren't mentioned in the website. If you want to learn spanish you may join institutions those teach various language.

You didn't mentioned which state/city you belong to. So in this case I can't avail you the info about such institutions near you.

Embassy most probably doesn't provide any kind of courses. You can join institutions those offers courses for French and Spanish Language.

In Delhi you have:

2. Langma school of Languages

There can be more schools like that.

It is quite difficult to get admission but don't loose hope you can try to get admission. According to your previous year cutoffs. the cutoff of BA Hons Spanish is 62 and you get 61.
