First-place finishers on all state and central boards are eligible for direct admission to SRM University as well as scholarships. Students with JEE Main scores below the top 1000 rank may also apply. Top scorers in the state of Tamil Nadu and athletes competing on the national or worldwide stage are also qualified for immediate admission.

Other than JEE : Candidates will be shortlisted for admission to B.Tech based on how well they performed in the university's SRMJEEE (UG) exam.

So, if your rank is below 1000 in JEE Main then you get direct admission to SRM otherwise you have to take SRMJEE exam to get admission.

The officials have not yet declared any dates for the Commencement of classes. The officials may announce the dates after the phase 3 counseling. Keep an eye on the official website or the link below for the latest information. SRM Institute of Science and Technology (Deemed University) has announced the SRMJEEE 2022 phase 3 counselling dates. SRMJEEE 2022 choice filling for phase 3 round 1 will conclude on July 13. The authorities also announced the SRMJEEE Phase 3 round 2 dates.

A private university with more tuition and funding would undoubtedly have greater amenities, as would SRM Chennai.

The state government's engineering university, Meerut Institute of Engineering and Technology (MIET), offers government seats that are filled through centralised counselling. MIET is located in Meerut.

As for SRM, well, it is SRM, a private institution, a renowned one at that recognised for standards, and given the tuition they demand, buying a student a placement won't be a tough job. MIET has also had great placements throughout the years. Private universities obtain student placements in this manner.

SRM University is one of the best Universities .The college has a huge campus with a lot of facilities. College infrastructure is nice . It is one of the best colleges for B tech. . Faculty here is really good and the placements are also very good for B tech. CSE .It is worth taking admission in this college.
