Is SRM CSE with AI and ML is better or KIIT CSE.

pri111nah 14th May, 2022

Hi,

In my opinion you should go for KIIT CSE.

SRM and KIIT are both comparable when Placements are considered for CSE. Having a Good CGPA, with Good Projects & Internships, you can easily secure a package anywhere between 6-8 LPA at some of the Top IT, Analytics & Software Companies during Placements.

However, KIIT Bhubaneshwar has a much better faculty and employer outlook, besides having a lower tuition fee and a much stronger campus culture and alumini network. Unless you're not from the South of India, you should prefer KIIT Bhubaneshwar CSE over SRM CSE. If in case you're from South, you might just go for SRM, being at your vicinity.

For more information of CSE at KIIT Bhubaneshwar do follow the link below

Hope this helps.

Good luck.

which is better for btech biotech amity noida or srm ktr......amity has biotech and srm has biotech spec in regenerative medicine?

pri111nah 11th May, 2022

HI,

If you are from North India then choose Amity or if you are from South then choose SRM. They both are similar in terms of education and infrastructure.

Just Graduation in BioTech won't be sufficient. You would need to do a post graduation , preferably from abroad or much better colleges than these two.

SRM has very good syllabus for all the 4 years teaching various subjects ranging from basic biology to subjects of chemical engineering and bioprocess engineering. The university also provides students with various opportunities such as Semester Abroad Programs (SEP), dual degree course and others at Warwick university and other renowned universities. If you wanna join any foreign exchange program then you must really work pretty hard and should have good score and enrol for program before hand, to avoid rush of any kind. The university as a whole is it strict in terms of clothes you were. There are about 2 cycle tests and model exam and then annual semester exam.

B.tech Biotechnology is good in amity. It is one of the best branches in amity university noida. You do have a number of good professor's as well. You have really good labs to work in , there are different labs of various faculties and you can work with them and learn about their research topics. The placements are also good.

But ultimately wherever you go it totally depends on you and your hard work and how efficiently you use the resources available to you in the college .

Hope this helps.

Good luck.

I have got cse in srm(krt) and cse in kiit. which college should i choose? which college is best for cse?

pri111nah 11th May, 2022

Hi,

In my opinion you should go for KIIT's CSE.

Both the colleges are the most important colleges after IITs, NITs and some reputed government college and private colleges such as BITS and VIT, Vellore.
Both the universities are deemed. In 2017, SRM University ranked 35th position while KIIT University ranked 47th. But faculty in KIIT is quite better than SRM University. The diversity in SRM is more as it has 7 campuses.
In Chennai campus SRM provides good placements but in all other campuses placement record is average and in KIIT if a student scores more than 6.5 CGPA in B.Tech then he/she definitely gets a placement. So placement condition in KIIT is good.

KIIT is one of the underrated colleges in India, despite its excellent achievements, academics, placements, it fails to show up to the top college's roundup. Clearly, it is not a pump and show at all.
It is much more concerned on your academics than SRM is. At SRM, you have to learn everything by yourself, get out of the place where you expect the teacher to guide (other than a few), but the staff is really supportive and guiding at KIIT. The fees on an average as per 2017 is lesser for KIIT and you don't have to pay loads for a hostel at SRM. Much better and bigger placement take place at KIIT. So now, to sum up, it is clear from there records that in the coming future it will prove to be a better institution keeping inside the brand name of SRM. Also, course regulation supervision and revision takes place every year at KIIT which is something SRM lacks and keeps using the same old 5 year back course.
KIIT only if home education and placement are what you want.

In overall comparison KIIT is a good university which has transparent system of education but in SRM University condition isn’t the same.
Fee structure in KIIT is fixed i.e. 1,50,000 INR but in SRM it depends on many things.

Hope this helps.

Good luck.

is kiit good or srm University for btech

pri111nah 11th May, 2022

HI,

In my opinion you should go for KIIT.

KIIT is far better than SRM.

Firstly the SRM admission desk always provided me with invalid information whereas KIIT is the one whom i can really trust and my parents too.

Always go for KIIT. SRM is not that strong brand name as the SRM officially announced that they don’t have management seats and also they warned us not to get admission through management but why so many students are studying in SRM despite of not taking admission through management??

You can't really say who is better but yes I think KiiT has a better faculty lab and hostels better than SRM, but KiiT is a bit old school with guys wearing formals for the first year and girls wearing Salwars, but except that I think KiiT is better in all spheres and the training placement cell in KiiT is one of the best in India

Thus, KIIT is far better than SRM for sure.

Hope this helps.

Good luck.

Sharon Rose Student Expert 7th May, 2022

Hello,

Laptop isn't mandatory but it is recommended because you will have assignments and seminars as a part of your course for that you need laptop. As you promote to the subsequent years you will have to work on projects and it may require laptop as you are studying Computer Science Engineering so it is best if you buy a laptop to complete your academic works with ease.

I have been selected for CS in ramapuram SRM Chennai and not in their main campus kattankulathur. I have paid for phase 3 exams also .Can I retain my CS seat as I will take decision only after JEE mains results .

Piyush kesarwani 7th May, 2022

hello aspirant,

YOU, cannot retain your allotted seat in SRM Counselling. IF you have got a seat in SRM Counselling and if you do not accept your allotted seat then your seat will be offered to some other candidate who has also registered himself/herself in the SRM Counselling. To avoid that, you can cancel the seat or you can accept the seat allotted to you in SRM Counselling.

Further, to know more about the SRM Counselling, you can follow the below mentioned link to know more about it : https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/srmjeee-counselling

I hope that this will help.

Hi,

Yes, SRM Sonipat has all the necessary Infrastructure, facilities and equipment as well as good placements. It has a beautiful Infrastructure with many campus amenities for the students. AC Classrooms, High-tech labs, with upgraded tools and equipment and technology, library, etc. are some of the amenities provided by SRM Sonipat. The money is totally worth the experience at SRM, Sonipat.

Below is the key comparison of SRM Sonipat :-

College Infrastructure :-

The campus is huge. The classrooms are very spacious and the seats are very comfortable. Library is very nice with all the required books. The library is a high-tech. The cafe serves good food, overall hygiene is maintained in the campus.

Academics :-

The professors who taught are very supportive and they explained everything very nicely and also helped with your last-minute queries even when they are busy. The subjects were very relevant to program and are updated. There were both internal and external examinations, you can also learn things practically and the on campus training during  final semester is very helpful.

Placements :-

Placements for BTech CSR were very good, almost 85% of students from the batch got selected during the campus selection. The average package is of around 5LPA. And one of was offered the highest package which was 12,00,00 per annum the university indeed offers quality placements. The faculty help does prepare for the placement drive, they they are all very supportive during all this.

Value-for-money :-

Keeping in mind all the learning opportunities you got here at SRM, I believe the money was totally worth it. The campus too was very good, You never lacked any facilities while on the campus. The faculty is also very supportive and it will be a great experience there for you.

Campus Life :-

The campus has a very jolly environment, there are students all around. As seniors are very supportive and the teachers are also very frank while out of the classrooms. You are never refused for any help from the faculty, they always help in some or the other ways.
