I believe at this Rank of 18100 in COMEDK, you have fair chances of securing ECE or ISE at many Good Engineering Colleges in Bangalore. You have high chances of securing ECE in DSCE Bangalore as well as at Nitte Meenakshi and CMR. Bangalore gives you a huge locational advantage being near IT and Technical Hubs, provides huge scope and impetus to training and Placements besides comparatively lower fees than SRM. Incase you secure CSE at SRM KTR, in that case you may prefer the Latter.

Dear applicant, out of your two chosen options, first let us focus on SRM, it is a very good college, with good faculties, provides you all the necessary facilities including hostels, well equipped labs and placements records show the median salary packages 7-10 LPA and almost 90% of students get placed. Chandigarh University is batter than SRm because of their campus placement.
Hope you are doing good. As per rules, to be a graduate in engineering, you need a minimum of 180 credits. Therefore, you can choose to have more than 180 credits but a minimum of 180 is a must. In accordance with this rule, SRM Chennai and LPU both issues 180 total credits to a student irrespective of the engineering branch you belong to.
Also do note that in SRM, these credit system is flexible that is you can choose how many credits you want to keep in each semester.
Hope this helps.
