SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Chennai
When you have to compare two colleges and have to arrive at a conclusion then you have to choose some of the parameters. This parameters can be a distinct number of events but to conclude this answer I am choosing some of the most important parameters like:
First of all NIT GOA is a government institute so the course fee you will have here is much lesser than that of SRM. Secondly, we all know that the NIT and IIT's are said to be the best for engineering for all over India. Now, the infrastructure in both the colleges are very good, there are nothing to distinguish about it. The curriculum in NIT's are more rigorous and you will need to be very competitive about it while in SRM the curriculum is relatively moderate. The teachers in NIT's are more qualified and most of them are involved in active research. So this way, you will get the knowledge from the best minds of India. Apart from this for placement also NIT Goa is ahead of SRM. May be as per records it sound that the highest packages in SRM is greater than NIT GOA but the median packages are higher than that of SRM.
So I would recommend you to go for NIT GOA rather than SRM.
**Before taking decisions, I would always recommend you to conduct some research by your own.

If we consider both of this colleges, then its for no doubt SRM have better infrastructure and lab facilities. As SRM is a self university, it has more independence to shape its curriculum. The ECE curriculum for SRM is more industry oriented than that of Anna University, Chennai (RIT is affiliated by Anna University, Chennai ). The number of faculties in SRM are greater in SRM and they are very well experienced as a result, you will get to learn from varied minds which can propagate good conceptual understand for you. Its undoubtedly to be said that SRM have better placements than RIT. So if you wish to go for among this two college, I would recommend you to go for SRM.
*Before taking any decision I would recommend you to do some research.

Hello Student
SRM University, regarding education, faculties, hostel facilities campus Wi-Fi system, food served in the hostel, restriction about the students, the festive occasion in the college all things are for one or two reasons similar to Goa College of Engineering.
But regarding placement SRM kattankulathur is is much better than Goa Engineering College passout student. In SRM uni versity almost 90% student got placed with highest salary of 14 lacs and average salary of 8 lacs per annum. But the placement in Goa Government College of Engineering down syndrome due to Goa NIT existence in the year of 2010.
Now it is your choice of preference what college will you take for your education.
