Hi, I am from Tamil Nadu, Chennai I wrote my 12th standard state board exam my cutoff mark will be around 120-130 so can you tell me that am i eligible to get seat in any engineering college in Chennai through TNEA counselling ? I preffer for computer science engineering
Hi,
The TNEA counselling cut off marks based on the State Board Exams are usually high. The opening and closing cut-off marks for the best colleges are usually between 150 to 197 for Computer Science and Engineering. This is based on the previous year's cutoff.
I would still suggest you to go ahead with the TNEA Counselling as there might be a change in this year's cut off. There will be several rounds of counselling as well, so that really helps. Please do wait for the official notice on the cut-off marks/ranks for this year.
All the best!
