State Board
You have not mentioned about which state board are you talking about which makes this question inappropriate and incomplete. If you want to know the reduced syllabus of class 11th of a particular state then you have to mention the name of the state so that I can share the exact details regarding the same. So just put up your question with the state name again and I will answer your query.
Hope you understood the situation and will rectify your question to get the appropriate answer. Thank you.

Hi, your latest marks and details are considered. So, even if you cracked the marks and decide that you wish to apply through other board of schooling then the other board score card is valid and not the state board. So, you will have to mention NIOS during the admission process. If you still have doubts feel free to comment. Hope this helps.
Hello.
If you wish to prepare for KVPY exam then first you must be thorough with the syllabus. You have to develop a good understanding of the concerned subjects, Physics, Chemistry, Biology , Mathematics and complete the whole syllabus. Then you have to make a proper study plan and set time to prepare what and when. Then the most important thing is to keep on revising all that you read. But what is going to make a difference is practice. Try solving as much questions and give as many mock tests as you can. Only that will make you more through with the course.
Now to answer your second question, it is better to go for NCERT books Aa they give a simpler and easier understanding of the concepts.

Both your certificate are acceptable though your state board certificate will have higher preference than the one you obtained for NIOS. If you were fail in your state board examination then you gave NIOS exam so you will have to you mention your board NIOS but if you were not fail and then you gave NIOS exam for the improvement of your marks so you can mention your any one of the board it maybe state board or NIOS board.
Hope it helps.
