I think your University might be mentioned with the name Punjabi in the list. Kindly look for that and dont look for the whole name Punjabi University and if it's still not there kindly choose the others options and mention the name of your university separately. You must have a BA (H) degree in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate. Then only you will able take admission in MA with same (Sociology ) honours .But as per you query you had complete your graduation in Hindi and Sanskrit without honours of sociology in BA .So you will not take admission in same .

No there is no such problem yet about this. As this NBA accreditation is good for college . They show the college reputations and facilities. And give NBA accreditations . So it not much suffer on your studies. And there is no such thinking of NBA accreditation.

Actually it is completely depend upon the institute and the merit and skills of the students. It doesn't matter that if it is a deemed university, the placement rate will high.

Some government institutes also have very high placement rate like IITs NITs GMCs etc.

If we analysis simply both then state university and deemed university – are both under the UGC in many ways, though they have their own style of functioning. State universities have their own syllabic, fees structures, and student base. The fact that most of them have been around for quite a while has its own appeal, along with the fact that they are associated with the state and not against a private group or trust and another part ..

Deemed universities have their own appeal and their own base of students. They may not have the umbrella of association with the state, but they make up for that with advanced course ware that is designed keeping the current industry trends, job market place and student’s future in mind. They have the infrastructure and the facilities to back-up the advanced course ware they offer and the dreams of big careers they nurture for their students.
