Hi
The students who want to pursue 12th through NIOS have to pass 10th or equivalent examination. The students can choose subjects from Scheme of Studies given in the table(The groups are mentioned in the official website of nios)
https://www.nios.ac.in/departmentsunits/academic/senior-secondary-course-equivalent-to-class-xii.aspx
The students are required to complete minimum of 5subjects with atleast one or atmost 2 languages. Thats compulsory for certification.
The students have to go through the groups with subjects given in the official website. They have to get passed in 5 subjects including the languages (1or 2 languages from Grp A)and other 3or 4 subjects from other Group. Those who are interested are free to choose two additional subjects. Thus total of maximum seven subjects can be chosen.
Hope you got your query cleared.
