I have a gate score of 445 AIR 6763 can i get mtech structural engineering in NIT Calicut being OBC NCL category
As per the previous year GATE cut off details , you have less chances to get NIT Calicut with Structural Engineering specialization .
Last year cut off for NIT Calicut in this domain was 538.
But , you can get the following colleges through your marks according to the cut off:
VNIT NAGPUR
NIT KURUKSHETRA
NIT RAIPUR
NIT SILCHAR etc.
Well, you need to remember that each year the cut off can change due to several factors like seat availability, hardness level of questions, reservation criteria etc.
You can check the cut off details from here too:

i qualified gate with a gate score of 364. can i get a seat in SV University , tirupati in ME structural engineering
Hello,
Last year a candidate with GATE rank 12998 secured admission to M.E Structural Engineering in SVU College of Engineering belonging to general category. As you haven't mentioned your category we assume hat you belong to General category. The cut off (GATE Rank) for other category candidates was as follows
- BC-A: 10747
- BC-B: 9057
- BC-D: 13646
- SC: 31314
It is quite difficult to predict if you have chances to get seat in SVU College of Engineering in the preferred branch as the cut off changes everywhere depending on the total number of candidates applied for AP PGECET counselling, difficulty level of examination and total number of seats available etc. If you have secured a rank around the previous year cut off rank you have chances to get seat.
To know the institutes in which you may have chances of getting seat you may use our GATE college predictor tool
