Last year a candidate with GATE rank 12998 secured admission to M.E Structural Engineering in SVU College of Engineering belonging to general category. As you haven't mentioned your category we assume hat you belong to General category. The cut off (GATE Rank) for other category candidates was as follows
It is quite difficult to predict if you have chances to get seat in SVU College of Engineering in the preferred branch as the cut off changes everywhere depending on the total number of candidates applied for AP PGECET counselling, difficulty level of examination and total number of seats available etc. If you have secured a rank around the previous year cut off rank you have chances to get seat.

With reference to your above mentioned query, i would like to tell you that there are lot of branch in Civil Engineering for Mtech which are hectic and less hectic.
But according to my opinion, Structural Engieering will be the most preferred branch in civil engineering branch for you in Mtech .
Structural engineering is the field of engineering that deals with the structural integrity and strength of a building or structure . Structural engineering is a specialty of civil engineering that ensures the structures are safe, stable and don't collapse under applied loads.

SVU have the course of M.Tech Structural Engineering and the course is offered by Sri Venkateswara University College of Engineering, Tirupati . The admission to the course is provided on the basis of GATE , AP PGECET . There are 24 seats available for the course.
