sir i am an physics lover from childhood ... a fan of transformer movie and interstellar movie.want to follow my passion for physics . want to persue b tech mechatronics . sir i know chromebooks would not be sufficient for computer science students. but can it be sufficient for mechatronics student?

Nitin Kumar 25th Apr, 2024

Chromebooks might be limiting for a Mechatronics program, depending on the specific software used by your chosen institute.

Chromebooks primarily run web-based applications. While some Mechatronics programs might utilize online simulation tools, many rely on specialized engineering software like:

  • AutoCAD for 2D/3D design
  • SolidWorks for 3D modeling
  • MATLAB for programming and simulation
  • LabVIEW for data acquisition and control

There are some cloud-based versions of engineering software available, but they might have limitations compared to the full desktop versions.

i am 12th humanities student and i wanna take attepmt of DU JAT can i give this exam without having math as a main subject........but for exam i can prepare my self

Tanya Gupta 12th Mar, 2024

Hello,

Yes, you can take the DU JAT even if you are a humanities student without math as your main subject. The DU JAT primarily tests your proficiency in Quantitative Ability, Reasoning and Analytical Ability, General English, and Business and General Awareness. While a background in mathematics may be helpful for some sections, you can certainly prepare yourself for the exam with dedicated study and practice. Focus on strengthening your skills in areas like reasoning, analytical thinking, and general awareness to maximize your chances of success in the DU.

Hope this helps you ,

Thank you

Hi

hope you doing well

Yes, you can appear for the NIOS (National Institute of Open Schooling) October 2024 examination to meet the 75% eligibility criteria for JEE Mains/Advanced. Here’s how it works and what you need to do:

  • Eligibility as a Fresh Candidate:
Yes, even if you are a 2023 pass-out, you can register with NIOS as a fresh candidate. NIOS allows students to improve their board performance or obtain fresh marks for eligibility purposes.

  • Subjects and Choice of Streams:
You need to select five subjects (including Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics) to meet the JEE criteria. Make sure you opt for subjects relevant to the eligibility requirements.

  • JEE Mains and Advanced accept NIOS scores. Make sure to pass with 75% aggregate or higher across the required subjects to qualify for IIT/NIT admission.

If the October 2024 exam timeline doesn’t fit, you may still give the April 2025 NIOS exams to secure eligibility.

Ensure that you get the required 75% marks, as failing to meet this could prevent you from gaining admission to IITs, NITs, or IIITs even with good JEE scores.

Best wishes.
