is mht cet worth for non Maharashtrian student? like can we get into main colleges

Shambhavi shambhavi 12th Dec, 2024

MHT CET is open to non-Maharashtrian students, but the chances of getting into top colleges can be more competitive due to limited seats for out-of-state students. You can still get into good colleges, but you might need to score higher in the exam, especially for popular courses and institutions. Additionally, the fee structure for non-Maharashtrian students can be higher. To maximize your chances, aim for a strong score and review the specific eligibility criteria for each college.

I am studying in 11th std . i am a pcmb student. to become doctor neet is required. my family is not affordable for neet caching centres . so i decided to take cse course in college . is it possible for pcmb students to learn cse courses within 3 months btwn school end and college reopen ?

Tanya Gupta 26th Jan, 2025

Hello,

Transitioning from PCMB to CSE within three months is challenging but possible. Focus on understanding basic computer science concepts, learn programming languages like Python or Java, review essential mathematics topics, and practice coding regularly. Utilize online resources and seek guidance from teachers or mentors. While you may not master everything in three months, you can lay a strong foundation for your CSE studies.

Hope this helps you,

Thank you

Marks required by sc student to get into govt mbbs college in telengana

mjaisinghani62 25th Jan, 2024

Hello Susheel

For a sc candidate to get a mbbs seat in government college in Telangna 420+ marks are needed.

See there is no fixed data or percentage fie any category candidate.  It depends upon cut off neet.

Cut off changes every year and depends upon various factors like number of students appeared for exam, difficulty level of exam,  normalisation method,  previous year's cut off etc. Hence looking at last 2- 3 year's cut off we can estimate the minimum marks required for that category candidate.

Neet cut off telangna in the year 2020 for sc was 412

2022 cut off neet for sc category was 422

I have doubt ( some counselling center said) that other state student cant get mbbs admition in goa

mjaisinghani62 25th Jan, 2024

Hello Sanjay

For admission to mbbs or any other medical courses like bachelor of Physiotherapy, Ayush, Vetrnary, bachelor of homeland medicines surgery,  bachelor of Ayurvedic medicine and surgery seats  are given either through state counseling process or All India quota process.
There are 85 percentage state quota seats and 15 % AIQ( All india quota )
Entrance exam - Neet / aiims / jipmer
State quota seats are given to only those students who belong to that state and they have domicile of that particular state.  For example if a candidate is from maharashtra then he or she must havd maharshtra state domicile and the candidate will be eligible for state quota seat . A candidate from other state , uttar pradesh can get mbbs seat in Maharashtra through AIQ.

But getting AIQ seat is not so easy. There is higher cut off for AIQ seats .

So a candidate from other state may get mbbs seat in Goa through all India quota .
