can a commerce student without having maths but having (eng, a/c, bst, eco, p.ed) can do bsc in cs in du?

Sajal Trivedi 12th Jan, 2024

Hello aspirant,

I regret to inform you that a B.Sc. in computer science at DU requires a math component.

The requirements for eligibility include a minimum of 60% in maths in your 12th grade year and the necessity to search for cutoffs in order to be admitted. Cut-offs are extremely high at DU.

Although you can pursue a BCA, you might need to take a second math exam in addition to your semester 1 exam s.

thank you

hope this information helps you.

What is my 12th/ PUC student/Reg number that i need to enter in the KCET application form 2024 ?

Tanya Gupta 18th Jan, 2024

Hello,

The 13 digit 'Student Number' issued from PUE Department has to be entered by the candidates who appeared for the 12th PUC exam.

To find your 12th/PUC student/Reg number for the KCET application form in 2024, you'll need to check your 12th/PUC registration documents or reach out to your school or college. They should be able to provide you with the specific number you need to enter in the KCET application form.

Hope this helps,

Thank you

I am currently studying in class 12 not study well, got distracted despite being a good student and i am now totally stressed and scared what to do.Both my teacher and parents have high hope for me.I want to give cbse improvement exam while preparing for cuet by taking a drop next year is it good?

Tanya Gupta 13th Jan, 2024

Hello,

You still have time left for the examination. It is not necessary that you won't be able to score well. Better late than never! Yes, it's quite late since it's just one month left for class 12th board but I recommend you to stop overstressing and start making your day and night one! Start studying as much as you can. Wakeup early to study or study late night if you can. You can watch one shot videos of each chapter to understand the concepts on youtube. Give 12th this time with all your efforts and if you still don't score well, there is always an option to take a drop. It's not a bad option but definitely not preferable. Focus on giving exams this time!

I hope this helps,

All the best!

I am commerce student studying class 11 with mathematics and want to study bsc economics

Tanya Gupta 19th Jan, 2024

Hello,

If you are planning to pursue BSc in Economics from college other than DU, then you won't face any issue as other colleges don't have the eligibility criteria to have maths as a subject in class 12th but if you are planning to pursue from Delhi University or colleges under Delhi University, then you won't be eligible as they have mathematics as a compulsory subject for admission

I hope this helps,

Thank you

Tanya Gupta 19th Jan, 2024

Hello,

Bachelors of Computer Applications is a 3 year uundergraduate course offered by many colleges in India. It's great for those interested in IT. Even if you studied commerce in 12th grade, you can still pursue BCA. Eligibility requirements may vary between colleges. Some universities may require maths or computer science for admission but the most of the colleges offer admission for any stream so you don't need to worry about that. You can check the eligibility criteria for the college you are looking for to confirm or provide me with the college name so I can give you the correct answer.

I hope this helps,

Thank you

Question : Select the correct passive form of the given sentence.

We do not sell stationery at this shop.

Option 1: Stationery is not being sold at this shop.

Option 2: Stationery has not been sold at this shop.

Option 3: Stationery is not sold at this shop.

Option 4: Stationery will not sell at this shop.

Team Careers360 21st Jan, 2024

Correct Answer: Stationery is not sold at this shop.

Solution : The third option is the correct choice.

Passive voice is the voice in which the object experiences an action rather than the person who performs the action. Hence, the object in the active voice becomes the subject in the passive voice.

The structure of the passive voice in the simple present tense is object + is + negation + past participle form of the main verb + prepositional phrase.

Therefore, the correct sentence is: Stationery is not sold at this shop.

Im 12th student but you say that in 10th grade you have also be 50% in each subject . i got 40 out of 80 so, is it possible to get entry in college.

Tanya Gupta 20th Jan, 2024

Hello,

I'm unsure of why you are confused but don't worry, I'm here to help. So basically, the requirement in getting into the college is that you must have 50% marks, now 50% doesn't mean 50 marks. If your total marks is 100, then the 50% marks is 50 but if your total is 80, as in your case, then your 50% marks is 40. I hope this clears your doubt..
