Neurosurgery is a very complex simple and time consuming procedure is not possible that neurosurgeon visits 3 to 4 hospitals daily. Actually a neurosurgeon remains in contacts with various hospitals and is called for a surgery according to the situation. The number of visits can be either two or 3 at maximum per day and could be 0 at some days. So 8 hours per day as you have mentioned includes both surgery and visit time, which they manage according to the time a surgery takes.

The salary structure you have seen are for the Resident Neurosurgeon. On one year of experience, you will become a Senior Resident which is around 4-6 Lacs and after the senior resident, you can become the staff surgeon or the junior surgeon in any hospital which will have considerably a good hike of salary. After 4-5 years of experience your package is expected to go above 15-20 lacs if you are neurosurgeon in metropolitan city. After becoming neurosurgeon at first you have to work as the part of internship from about 6 months. Only after that you will get registration and then you can become a a perfect neurosurgeon. Obviously then you can go to abroad and start your career there if you have passed from a reputed college in India you can do that easily otherwise maybe there are some hustles. Obviously after practicing some year when you will be expert maybe you can become a top surgeon of that time.  But after that also earning 60000 dollars for a single surgery is quite impossible and can be achieved after lots of practices as a General neurosurgeon. Not at all, it is an absurd views about the surgeons in USA. 90 to $300 per hour. No expert  he or she is a surgeon or  practicing medicine 100000 dollar per surgery. Yeah she can earn only 90 to $300/hr. If the doctor works at least 8 hours a day kannalli 2400 dollar per day and in the monthly basis $72,000 per month. So it is impossible thinking that is a doctor or surgeon earn 100000 dollar per surgery or per day.

The average cost of Brain surgery in India is approximately Rs. 2,50,000 to 7,50,000 , it depends on which hospital are you getting the treatment from, and how major the surgery is. Govt hospitals  cost a little less than those of private ones.
