Hello student. Symbiosis pune college has increased its cut off to 500 and many students got through it and got the admission. It might vary this year due to number of students attending counselling and so on. Chances are a bit less. But still try. Apply for other colleges too to be on the safer side.

Jamia entrance is totally based on Entrance test, clear the test and get your seat in JMI.

All the colleges you compared are very good colleges and have A grade given by NAAC and have a good rating to all the colleges and all the colleges you compared is good for the computer science engineering  department and ranking based on rating i want to give is1. symbiosis 2.manipal university3.KIIT 4.SRM university and all the colleges have good placements and good infrastructure in their colleges and also they conduct project orientated programmes and you can prefer colleges based on above ranking i have mentioned and have good in aplitude and communication skills.All the best and i think my suggestions and knowledge may be helpful to u.

We expected that this year SLS Nagpur, Hyderabad and Noida have to shortlist which secure about 47-55 marks and SLS Pune you have to secure 57-60. So you may get a chance for PI and WAT from Hyderabad, Noida and Nagpur.

According to ranking wise both are nearly about to same.

But according to placements wise Symbiosis college is far much better than Amrita college.

I hope you have some idea about the course you are opting...According to last year updates you have no chance to get into the course...Because as per the last year 110+ is expected for cse .There is another way like IT which expects only 95+ last year...Every year the trend changes... This year SIT expects 45% of marks from board exams and minimum marks in SITEEE So hope for the best.You have huge chance to get through.Kindly refer the link I attach to see the updates.

Hi dear aspirant , getting a seat in symbiosis pune for waiting list candidates depends on the students who have got a seat and may leave due to any reason . So as your waiting list no. is 33 you have slightly low chances of getting a seat in 1st or 2nd merit list but you can wait till 3rd or else go and search out for other institutes . Hope it will help.

As per the previous year trends many students leave their admission process in SCMC specially after other universities like DU releases it's counselling list hence there is a high chance for the admission of students with less than 200 waitlist number to get admission. However your waitlist number is beyond 800 hence it is very difficult to say anything for sure (specially as the trends are changing this year due to covid). I can only advise you to keep going with the counselling procedures cause who knows? Maybe you will get in but also keep a few other colleges as an option. All the best
