Look at bcom cut off for symbiosis is high

Liket there are merit lists - there are around 3–4 merit lists in which u will get in according to your board score that is for u to be fully relaxed the be confident that u will get in u should have above 95 %

Look last year's cut off came to 85 not less than that plus this year lot of students scored above 90 so u should have a percentage more than 90 to be wait listed or selected on 1–3 merit lists

Symbosis international university (siu) offers admission to various courses

Admission to BA LLB & BBA LLB Programs will be offered to candidates passing 10+2 with 45% marks. Final Selection to these programs will be based on SLAT Entrance Test. BBA, BCA, BA and B.Des programs are open for candidates having passed 10+2 (Relevant Stream) with 50% marks. Selection to BBA, BCA & BA courses will be based on scores in SET Entrance Exam whereas selection to B.Des will be based on SEED Entrance Test Score

B.Tech and B.Sc. programs are open for Graduates (Science Stream). Selection to B.Tech will be based on JEE Main/ SITEE E Score. However, selection to B.Sc. will be based on SET Entrance Test/ Entrance Test/ Personal Interview.

Admissions to MBA program are open for Graduates passing SNAP Entrance Test. Whereas, M.Tech course requires Graduate (Relevant Stream) passing GATE / SIT Entrance Exam.

Hello Mona. Sorry to say but your wait list number is too much to get into the college. Usually people with wait list number less than 200 have chances of getting into the college. So good luck for your admission. Also apply for other colleges if you don't want to waste your year.

Symbiosis Center for Distance Learning  (SCDL) is one of the largest autonomous distance learning education institutes in India.

Symbiosis distance education does not provide a masters degree in psychology courses.

The courses for which masters or postgraduate degree is offered are: Post Graduate in Business Administration, International Business, IT Management, Banking & Finance, Supply Chain management, Export & Import management, Technical writing in business management, Insurance management, human resource management, Instructional Design, Retail management, pre-primary teacher's training, customer relationship management, business & corporate laws, educational administration, data science & statistics, school counselling, media & event management, project management,renewable energy management and labour laws & employee relations.

Your concerns are valid. Since no batch has till yet passed from Symbiosis, Nagpur. It is a point of concern as to how it will play out in the future.

The thing is Symbiosis is a well to do tag to carry around. Therefore, until you have another option with a similar tag, I would recommend you to stick with it.

Your waiting list number is not so much high so there is a chance for you to get admission, I think you should wait. Also, side by side you should also start looking for another college so that if in any case your waitlist number do not get clear then you would have another college in your hand.

Placements : The college has placements, but considering the course not many students take up placements as they wish to continue with further studies. The college also has a placement cell that is handled by students just like any other college clubs. The placement cell helps the students in a number of different ways to prepare them for their career after graduating. The college invites placements from corporates, NGO and the banking and finance sector. Few of the companies that visited are; Deloitte, ZS Associates and E&Y.

Infrastructure : The college is situated in the founder's campus of Symbiosis University on Senapati Bapat Road, Pune. And hence, the campus is really small. As far as the infrastructure is concerned, but the college lacks that. If students are looking for huge basketball courts, football grounds, swimming pools, etc. This campus cannot offer any such things. Although, the college makes arrangements for students to go to the other nearby Symbiosis campuses to avail these facilities. Besides sports, the college is well-equipped with Wi-Fi facility, air-conditioned smart classrooms, a library and medical facility looked after by the Symbiosis Centre for Health Care. The college also has a hostel, but it is not large enough to accommodate all the students (as mentioned before due to campus area). Most of the students studying here prefer staying in PG accommodations, sharing flats or hostels outside of the campus (plenty of these are available around the campus).

Faculty : The faculty at the Symbiosis School of Economics is very well-qualified. The professors are approachable for any difficulty faced by a student not only in the studies but also outside the college about adjusting to the new city. The faculty not only sticks to the books but also encourages students to look into the daily affairs of the country's economy. The college also comes the UK with educational trips depending on the subjects of that semester. Each class has about 35-40 students and one professor for each subject.

Other : The students of the college conduct a yearly fest which includes a social fest and a sports fest. There are also inter-batch and inter-college sports tournaments. The campus is located in one of the prime locations of Pune City making it accessible to almost everything necessary. The crowd at SSE is also friendly and helpful just like the faculty.

The colleges demands original documents for verification and then they return it immediately after the verification process finishes. But they take the original transfer certificate and migration that you receive from school. 

If you are confused between two colleges don't summit you TC to anyone just give an application that after joining college you will summit your TC and migration to college 

In this way you can present your documents to both institute one by one.

It's a good option if you don't want to consider other options. Symbiosis has a good reputation.

Assuming that you are joining SSE, consider the following points:

Work at it. Economics is a vast subject and technical too.

From second year onwards start considering your PG options

Remain focused and don't get carried away by the atmosphere there

Have fun but not at the cost of your goals
