Hello,
We cannot predict your expected rank because VITEEE 2020 is cancelled for the first time and admission in completely based on class 12/JEE Main score. Students from different state boards, CBSE, ICSE will apply for VIT so the highest marks scored in each board has to be normalized and assigned a merit also the cut off and rank depends on number of seats available in each campus, number of candidates applied, normalized score etc. You need to patiently wait until the results are declared to know your rank.
HELLO Aditya,
cutoff percentile for NIT TRICHY will br nearly morethan 95 percentile .
thank you hope it was helpful to you all best for your bright future
Opthamology is a specialisation in Medicine. After studying MBBS, you have to appear for entrance examination for a seat in Opthamology. To study MBBS, you need to appear for NEET. NEET is the entrance examination for admission to MBBS,BDS, Ayush and Veterinary courses across India. And to be eligible for NEET, you should have completed your 12th, passed in all subjects and secure a minimum aggregate of 50% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. It is 50% for General Category, 45% for PWD and 40% for OBC,SC,ST. Now if you belong to OBC Category, the Category you belong to should be also listed in the Central OBC list. Or else you will be considered as General Category and so you have to secure a minimum aggregate of 50% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. This 50% is inclusive of the Theory and Practical marks scored in Physics, Chemistry and Biology collectively. You needn't score 50% in Physics, 50% in Chemistry and 50% in Biology separately. You need an aggregate of 50% or 40% depending on your Category as an aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. And along with Physics, Chemistry and Biology, you should also have studied English as one of the core subjects in your 12th. It is not clear whether you have applied for NEET or not. If you have applied for NEET, please visit our page https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-cutoff-tamil-nadu for previous year cut offs. Now this is previous years data and cut offs change every year. Cut offs change every year depending on various factors such as no.of Candidates appearing for the exam, no.of Candidates qualified, top NEET score and difficulty of the exam And if you are preparing for NEET, you may as well try our NEET Knockout package: https://learn.careers360.com/knockout-neet-may/ . And because you have 2 more months to prepare for NEET, you may as well use this opportunity.
With this percentile, your All India Rank will be around 2 lakhs. But in PwD category, it might be very very well. Based on the previous years' trends, you have enough chances of getting into NIT Trichy. Being from Tamil Nadu will help you more to get into NIT trichy into your desired course.
Hope it helps.
