You can appear for JEE Main 2022 April Session in Tamil Nadu even though you have passed class 12th in Uttar Pradesh. While filling the application form you have to select four preferences for examination centers. You need to select the state and then the city that are enlisted in the drop box. So you can select Tamil Nadu state in the drop box and then select the city in the order of preference. And in the field of 12th or equivalent passing or appearing state you need to select Uttar Pradesh only. There will be no issue if your examination center state and class 12th passing state is different.
