See for government quota seats only those candidates are eligible who belongs to the same state where the institutions is located like if you are seeking government quota seat in any of the college of Tamil Nadu whether it is private or government you should have the domicile of Tamil Nadu otherwise you can take admission only for management quota seats.

In which dental colleges in Tamil Nadu I will get management quota seat with 230 marks.

SREYASHI SEN 7th Nov, 2021

Good day, aspirant.

I hope everything is going well for you. Yes, with a NEET score of 230, you can earn a management seat in a private college. In terms of fees, it's difficult to provide you accurate figures because the tuition structure fluctuates from college to college and year to year. Anyway, these are a few of the dental institutions in Tamil Nadu where you can apply, along with their cost structures ( Remainder: There might be a slight variation in the fee mentioned)

1. Kattankulathur Dental College and Hospital (SRM Kattankulathur Dental College and Hospital), Kattankulathur, Tamil Nadu The overall fees here are estimated to be around Rs 16,00,000, or nearly Rs 3 lakh each year.

2. Annamalai University's Rajah Mutiah Dental College and Hospital, Annamalai Nagar, Tamilnadu The total fees in this case are over Rs 13,00,000, or nearly Rs 2,50,000 each year.

3. Dental College and Hospital of Sathyabama University in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. The overall fees here are estimated to be roughly Rs 23,00,000, or around Rs 4,50,000 each year.

4. Chennai, Tamil Nadu's Meenakshi Ammal Dental College and Hospital. The overall fees here are around Rs 28,00,000, which works out to about Rs 5,60,000 each year.

Thai Moogambigai Dental College and Hospital is located in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. The overall fees here are around Rs 20,00,000, which works out to about Rs 4,00,000 per year.

My father native is Tamilnadu and works in Tamil nadu but I studied in Andhrapradesh. We are in Andhra Tamilnadu border. With my fathers domicile can I apply for state counseling there.

Aditya 6th Nov, 2021

Hi aspirant,

To avail state quota from either of the places, you need to satisfy some basic eligibility criterias set up by authorities and the government. Some of them are listed below:

  • He/She must be born in the same state or parents should be a native of that state.
  • The candidate must complete his/her secondary and higher secondary education from an institution recognised by the state government.
  • Parent should be working in any public or private sector under the state government  for atleast seven years.
  • He/ She should have a domicile certificate from an authorised body.

So as you do not fulfill any of the mentioned criteria  you cannot apply for the state counselling based upon the domicile of your father

Got 487 marks in NEET 21, What are the Chances in state quota Tamil Nadu. Can you point out colleges which were in this cut off marks last year in Tamil Nadu.I am in open/ General category

piyush263001 6th Nov, 2021

Hello,

NEET 2021 results have been declared by the National Testing Agency NTA.

To predict whether you will definitely get a seat in a college is an uphill task as cut-offs for colleges change every depending upon several factors such as-

• Number of applicants in NEET exam

• NEET question paper difficulty level

• Score of the candidates in NEET 2021 result

• MBBS/BDS seat matrix 2021

NEET 2021 Cut-off goes like :-

• General /EWS- 50th percentile

• SC/ST/OBC - 40th percentile

• General-PwD - 45th percentile

• SC/ST/OBC-PwD - 40th percentile

Marks wise cut off is as following -

• General - 720-138

• OBC/SC/ST - 137-108

• Gen PwD - 137-122

• (OBC /SC / ST ) PwD - 121-108

Though it was expected that due to higher difficulty level of examination cut-off for colleges will decrease, but it turns out students have performed exceptionally well and the cut offs have increased compared to last year.

See it is quite difficult to help you with the exact list of colleges as the counselling is yet to be conducted and the cut-offs keep on changing every year.

It would be very difficult for you to get Government Medical College with your marks, though you can try getting seat in following college in management quota-

• Annapoorna Medical College and Hospital, Salem

• CMC Vellore

• Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan Medical College and Hospital, Perambalur

• Karpaga Vinayaka Institute of Medical Sciences, Kancheepuram

• Karpagam Faculty of Medical Sciences and Research, Coimbatore

• KMCH Institute of Health Sciences and Research, Coimbatore

• Melmaruvathur Adhiparasakthi Institute of Medical Sciences and Research, Kancheepuram
