Hello Aspirant,
With SC category and such percentile it is quite difficult to get any good college like NITs/IIITs.
But you can try for private colleges discussed below or you can appear for state counselling for some autonomous institutions.
Because according to the mentioned percentile your CRL rank is expected to be in the range of 372167 - 418370 , you can check out marks Vs ranks Vs Percentile from the link given below :-
https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-main-marks-vs-percentile
Or
You can also use JEE-Main Rank Predictor to predict your rank :-
https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-rank-predictor
On such rank you can try for some private colleges like :-
MSU Baroda - Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda
College of Engineering, Trivandrum
VJTI Mumbai - Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute
Or you can prepare for further attempts of JEE-Main and to help you in your preparation we have some resources which you can access from the link given below :-

Note that the above prediction is made on the basis of latest cut-offs available and the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors such as the number of candidates appearing in an examination, the number of candidates qualifying an examination, difficulty level of the paper, and so on.
To have a list of all those colleges which you can get based upon your marks, category, and state you can use JEE-Main College Predictor:-

All the best.
As you have attempted the MET entrance and also your marks are really good so you can first get your rank of this particular marks by using any rank predictor showing rank for this particular exam and your marks will be shown so than you will be knowing about the valuation of your rank and according to that you can approach different types of colleges. Now as you are looking for MIT’s you can definitely get this college only the main campus where you it will be very getting admission their or else you can surely try in some medium level MIT’s campus for sure and as you also belong to a SC category that is you will be getting some more benefits that you can avail it while taking the admission.
Thank you..
In all the colleges there are category wise seat distribution has been done and there are some percent of seats reserved for other state quota and as SRM being a Private institution you can definitely gat a admission in SRM university inspite of you being of any state. Now saying about how much question you should attempt to score a high marks is not that easy, but definitely you can try to keep your aim always very high and try to attempt all the questions which you are completely sure with because doing this will help you to boost maximum marks.
Dear aspirant,
As you have mentioned that you have got 118 marks in aeee 2021 and you are wanting to take up cse in amrita Coimbatore and taking into consideration that you are from tamil nadu ,so let me tell you that it is very difficult to predict only on the basis of marks because the dynamics of these colleges gets changes every year.
It depends upon certain factors like number of candidates appearing in the examination, number of vacant seats in college, previous years cut offs, difficulty level of the paper

Hello aspirant,
First of all congratulations for your result. The NTSE 2021 cutoff for stage 2 is not yet released due to the pandemic situation. You can refer to the previous years' cutoff for Tamil Nadu for having idea how much can be the minimum score to qualify the exam. There are records for the year 2018 in which the cutoff marks for general category was 150, for SC 122 and for ST category it was 113. Keep on checking the official site for updated notices.
Hope this helps,
All the Best!!
