Hi
With 82.5 percentile
your rank will be around 179025 - 201250 as per our rank predictor at https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-rank-predictor
Your sc rank will be around 10,000.
You are from Tamilnadu so you will be eligible for home state quota in NIT Trichy
I am extremely sorry to tell you but with above predicted rank you have extremely low chance in NIT Trichy even under home state quota
For example,
In 6th round of josaa counselling 2020, closing rank for gender-neutral for sc category was 6730 sc rank in NIT Trichy and it was for Metallurgical and Materials Engineering (4 Years, Bachelor of Technology)
You can check the same at
https://josaa.nic.in/Result/Result/currentorcr.aspx
Above prediction is on the basis of past year data but cut off/closing rank for colleges keeps changing every year depending upon many factors like number of students that appeared in the examination, difficulty level of the JEE main question paper for different shifts etc so
To have a personalised report on your chances of getting a college you can go through our college predictor, it will give you complete list of colleges which you can get on the basis of the category you belong to, your home state, your gender etc, the link for jee main college predictor is provided below
