what will be the cutoff difference between NEWLY FORMED.. MBC AND MBC VANIYAR IN NEET 2021.

Souhrid Sarkar 24th Mar, 2021
Hi,

As you know cut off changes every year a nd hence it's difficult to predict the cut off of the college beforehand. The cut off depends on :

  • Number of candidates who appeared for NEET exam
  • NEET paper difficulty level
  • No.of seats available

But to be in a safer side, try to aim for 580+ ,as competition is rising every year

To know more about the cut off for NEET UG 2021 visit :

Sir my percentile is 82.5 with sc reservation and Im from tamil nadu will I get NIT Trichy?

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 4th Apr, 2021

Hi

With 82.5  percentile

Your sc rank will be around 10,000.

You are from Tamilnadu so you will be eligible for home state quota in NIT Trichy

I am extremely sorry to tell you but with above predicted rank you have extremely low chance in NIT Trichy even under home state quota

For example,

In 6th round of josaa counselling 2020, closing rank for gender-neutral for sc category was 6730 sc rank in NIT Trichy and it was for Metallurgical and Materials Engineering (4 Years, Bachelor of Technology)

You can check the same at

https://josaa.nic.in/Result/Result/currentorcr.aspx

Above prediction is on the basis of past year data but  cut off/closing rank for colleges keeps changing every year depending upon many factors like number of students that appeared in the examination, difficulty level of the JEE main question paper for different shifts etc so

To have a personalised report on your chances of getting a college you can go through our college predictor, it will give you complete list of colleges which you can get on the basis of the category you belong to,  your home state, your gender etc, the link for  jee main college predictor is provided below

https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-college-predictor?icn=QnA&ici=qna_answer

To get NIT Trichy you should target around 89 -90 percentile to be on the safer side. To improve your score in remaining sessions of JEE main you should focus on your preparation go through previous year question papers ,mock test papers and to help you in your preparation we have jee main knockout out for you, for which  is provided below

If you have any other doubt then you can always reach us to clear them :) we are always available to help you out and guide you

Thankyou

Hi, I am from Kerala, studying Tamil Nadu, am I eligible for applying reservation in TNEA?

Subhrajit Mukherjee 20th Feb, 2021

NEA 2021 will be managed by the Anna University, Chennai. The University will not organize any entrance exam for admission to the engineering programme in the state of Tamil Nadu. The admission into engineering courses will be based on 10+2 examination percentage. TNEA (Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions) is an admission procedure organized for providing admission into engineering courses. These courses are offered by the various engineering colleges in Tamil Nadu.

I hope my answer helps. All the very best for your future endeavors!
