Anurag Khanna 17th Oct, 2020

Hello Aspirant,

On such marks and category you have good chances of getting government seat in some Private medical colleges in Tamil Nadu under state quota according to previous year's cut-off. As we go through previous year's cut-off then it shows that you can get following colleges :-

  • Annapoorna Medical College and Hospital, Salem
  • Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan Medical College and Hospital, Perambalur
  • ESIC Medical College, K.K. Nagar, Chennai

And some more. You can check out previous year's cut-offs from the link given below :-

https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-cutoff-tamil-nadu

Note that the above prediction is made on the basis of previous year's cut-off and the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors such as the number of candidates appearing in an examination, the number of candidates qualifying an examination, difficulty level of the paper, and so on.

To have a list of all those colleges which you can get based upon your marks, category, and state you can use NEET College Predictor:-

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 23rd Oct, 2020

Hi

It's quite difficult to predict that whether you will get  seat or not as  cut off marks/rank for medical colleges keeps changing every year  depending upon various factors like  number of students that appeared in the exam, kind of marks obtained by them , toughness level of the examination etc.

But yes when we go through previous data then it suggests that with 463 marks , you have low chances for Government Medical Colleges but yes you have chances for Government quota seat in following  private medical college under Tamil nadu state quota which are listed below :-

*Stanley Medical College, Chennai

*Sree Moogambigai Institute of Medical Sciences, Kanyakumari

*Sri Muthukumaram Medical College and Hospital

*  Karpagam Faculty of Medical Sciences and Research, Coimbatore

Above prediction is on the basis of past year data  but  cutoff keeps changing every year due to many factors as mentioned earlier, so to have a clear picture of the colleges in which you have chances and
to get the complete list of colleges in which you have chances, you can go through our college predictor at

i scroced 514 mark in neet ug 2020 ,will i get goverment college in tamil nadu

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 19th Oct, 2020

Hi

when we go through previous data then it suggests that with 514 marks   you hold a low chance to get a seat in a Government Medical College

For example,
In Neet 2019, the lowest marks that got a seat in Government Medical College for general category under Tamil Nadu state quota was 520 marks and it was for Government K.A.P.V. Medical College, Trichy

But yes
With your marks you very good have chances for govt quota seats   in private medical college under state quota like:

*KMCH Institute of Health Sciences and Research, Coimbatore

*Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan Medical College and Hospital, Perambalur

And a few more

Hello student,

Its quite harder to predict the college for your score. Sorry to say but 268 is somewhat a lower score. As the cutoff for the medical colleges vary every year based on some factors, we couldn't predict that.

But you have some possibilities of getting seats in private colleges, especially in state quota.

So just go through our NEET college predictor link to check the chances of admission possibilities:

Questions of NTSE (Tamil Nadu) SST are asked from NCERT SST or sate board SST books? I am CBSE student.. If state board SSt questions are asked how should I study state board SST ?

Mrunal Barapatre 17th Oct, 2020

Hey Udhaya,

NTSE (National Talent Search Examination) is conducted by the State Government and NCERT for class 10th students. You should be the student of Class 10 to be eligible to participate in NTSE.

For NTSE, all the syllabus (Science, Maths, Social Sciences) is from the NCERT Curriculum of 9th and 10th Standards.

So you have to read only NCERT books for preparation of NTSE. You should also have basic knowledge from previous standards so as to make your base clear.

Hope that this is the required information you needed.

Good luck with your preparations!!!
