Dear Aspirant,
Generally all the colleges ask for the proof of your completion of 12th class. You can submit them Character Certificate of your son/daughter. For this you have to visit your son/daughter school. You can easily ask from the school principal to make a character certificate for your son/daughter. It includes the thing that your son has completed 12th from this school.
And then you can submit it as a proof to the college .
Hope this helps.
Hi Senthil!
VIT Vellore does accept JEE Main Scores for their admission process. They accept both JEE Main Scores and your 12th Board Exam Marks. You have to submit any of these marksheets for the further process of admission.
When it comes to Anna University, Chennai, they do not accept JEE Main Scores. They do not have any other Entrance Exams too. They accept only on the basis of your 10th and 12th Board Exam Marks (PCM).
Hope this is helpful!
Best of luck!

I believe since you have completed your 10th and 12th from Karnataka and perhaps have been living in Karnataka for the last 10 years as your Permanent Address on Aadhar Card will suggest, in spite of the fact your parents are from Tamil Nadu, you will be able to access Karnataka Domicile and state quota advantage and not that of Tamil Nadu. Hence if you apply for Tamil Nadu State Counselling you wont get the State Advantage.
The Government Quota Seat Distribution in self-financing medical colleges are 65:35 in case of non minority institution and 50:50 in case of minority institution.
