Varsha, the official website https://bcdd.kerala.gov.in/schemes/educational-schemes/oec-postmatric-educational-assistance/ states that the Candidate should be listed in OEC list and should have secured a seat in merit and reservation. Now if you belong to Kerala and want to study in Self financing Medical Colleges, you can apply only through State Counselling for Management Quota and not Government Quota seats. Now OEC is a State level Reservation for Candidates belonging to Kerala and it is not applicable in Tamilnadu. And so you might not be eligible for Post Matric Scholarship.
Hello student ,
If we consider previous year cut off then it would be tough to say that you get seat even in private institute because to get admission in any medical college you should at least little more then cut off . And as you have scored very less marks then you will get only low grade college even it would be tough to say that you may get college because this on the basis of previous year cut off and as you know cutt off changes every year due to various factors like increase or decrease in number of students , toughness level of the exam and many more . So wait for the result or do work hard for the next year and till then you can use our college tool predictor which will help you to know your chances according to your expected marks .
Hope it helps !
