Based on the rank you have mentioned your score would be between 38-45 . Since you have not mentioned your score this is just an estimation so it may vary. So if you have scored in 40s then top colleges like Anna University or PSG might be difficult because for these colleges you need 50 above for BC category. So if your score is below 50 then you may try for these colleges:

When it comes to admission, your normalized marks will be considered . The formula to calculate the normalized score is 40+ ( 10/ Standard Deviation)(Raw score-mean score) .In general a score of 40-50+ can secure you good colleges.

Every year the cutoff for the tancet exam to make students eligible to get into both government and private post graduation colleges in tamilnadu changes.

As you're from the BC category, the minimum required amount of marks for you to get into PSG college of technology is 56.67 and the minimum percentile you're required to get is 80.

For PSG college of technology it is 2006 and for PSG institute of management it is 2377.
