theeanonymous 4th Feb, 2021

Hello Aspirant,

But before that you should have a valid NQT Score.Candidates who have an NQT Score (Cognitive Skills) may choose any test from the Industry NQTs and Subject NQTs. Industry NQT is for non-engineering jobs and Subject NQT is for core engineering jobs.  Candidates will be able to view/edit their details and add test(s) pertaining to Industry NQT and/or Subject NQT on/before the registration closure date.Exams may be scheduled either on the same date or on different dates, but the dates will not overlap for the various tests that you choose. TCS nd other IT companies allow 10th class supplymantry Candidate

chandni deb 22nd Dec, 2020

Dear Yashbharat,

when it comes to TCS recruitment, their recruitment policy suggests that they take students who have acquired a minimum of at least 60% and above in their 10th and 12th graduation. But they have to attain this in their first attempt. However regarding other IT companies it will depend on their recruitment policy and eligibility criteria. It is best you research about their eligibility criteria for their recruitments.

i have got 82.11 percentile in cat, with 2.5 yrs experience in TCS,with a 9.5 cgpa in 10th,90.5 percent in 12 th and 8.85 cgpa in Btech. Will i be shortlisted for Goa Institute of Management

Abhishek Roy 19th Jan, 2021

Last year the last CAT percentile cutoff for getting a Call at Goa Institute of Management was 87 Percentile, with the XAT Cutoff at 81 Percentile. I believe with a 82.11 Percentile, having a strong academic record as well as a good work experience, you must keep you fingers crossed and hope for the best, as you may still have bleak chances in GIM Goa.

Anuj More 29th Oct, 2020

Dear Candidate,

Kindly take into account if you NOT doing work will help your family. If you are not happy with your job, you MAY try for a new job. But before taking this step, up skill yourself with new technologies, & languages which will help you excel in these technologies. With better skill at your hand, you can think of applying for other jobs. First upgrade your skillset side by side & then maybe you can leave your job after you have secured a new job.

Try being the best Candidate for jobs outside. Talk with people within the industry. What is booming, what may align with your goals. Answer all these questions.

Hope this helps. Thanks.

i got my TCS NQT 2020 admit card yesterday where my name is printed wrong, my name is "REVOORU SIVA SANDEEP KUMAR" but my name in the admit card is "REVOORU KUMAR" which wont match with any of my id proofs, but my photo is clear,it was me in the admit card, so will they allow me....?

Shivi Srivastava 29th Oct, 2020

Hi,

You need not worry about that if you had filled your name correctly in the form, while applying for TCS-NQT 2020.

If you notice your name is not spelled wrong, its just it has been shortened and the rest appears to be your middle name, so they have removed it.

And the reason why your name was not mentioned in the admit card must be due to the space issues, coz that would become too long to adjust.

If you have further queries, you can go to our site and post your queries here.

We will get back to you ASAP.

Hope this helps.

I recently has tcs interview. I believe i have done well. But i didnt answer one technical question. How many people from sjbit, Ise does tcs usually take?

Shruti Smaranika 26th Nov, 2020

Hello aspirant,

See, there's no particular figure to find out that how many number of students from SJBIT, ISE that TCS take. Yes, only that institute where you're studying, the placement cell can tell you the figures, not the company who is recruiting. Since you participated in the interview, you believe you did well but didn't answer one technical question, so need to worry and rather wait for the interview results.

Hope, it helps you.

I have got School of Information Technology RGPV , Bhopal CSBS branch . Any idea hows the college and placement . I read on website this is new department added in RGPV university in partnership with TCS .Is it good college to join ?

Mrunal Barapatre 2nd Nov, 2020

Hello there,

RGPV Bhopal is the most prestigious technical University of the Madhya Pradesh. It has introduced a new Programme for AY 2020-21 named as Btech in Computer Science and Business Systems.

This programme is developed in accordance with the requirements of Industry and the new industry 4.0 concept. The whole curriculum is industry oriented which is a very required factor now-a-days for the recruiters.

Also, as this programme is developed by TCS, you'll also get the views of the working of the industry. TCS will also offer internship and opportunity for working on live projects. Also, based on your performance, you may also get preference for placements in TCS and relevant companies.

So overall this programme is very beneficial for career development in this field.

The placement data is not available as this is a new programme started this year.

But for other branches, some of the major recruiters were Adani, Infosys, TCS, Capegemini, Wipro, etc. Average salary for CSE students is 4LPA and maximum salary was around 12 LPA.

So you can expect this data for your course also as this is similar to CSE.

Hope that you got the answer

Good Luck !!!

Siddhi Shenoy 18th Sep, 2020

Hello Anand Kumar,

Your 12th marks might not matter but your semester marks from first year onwards matters for getting a job in companies such as TCS and WIPRO. Those students who have a constant score of at least 60% in their semester exam since first year have higher chances to get jobs. Also, your resume and your project work matters. So, see that you have built a good resume and that your project is creative so that the companies consider your skills. Also, develop your personality to be able to answer interviews properly (if selected) .

Good luck!
