but mam can i get admission in government College if i get 550+ in NEET in second attempt? all the teachers from my school are said that i cant get admission on 2 marksheet,is it true mam???

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 26th Jul, 2020

Dhara, what is important is you meet the NEET eligibility criteria and then secure good marks in NEET. Provided you have all the documents in place, there should not be any reason why with 550 and more you cannot study MBBS. Now it is true that 550 might not fetch you a seat in a GMC because if you belong to Bihar or Rajasthan or Delhi and you belong to General Category, you will need more than 600. But in General, to be eligible for NEET, you should have completed your 12th, passed in all subjects and secure a minimum aggregate of 50% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. It is 50% for General Category, 45% for PWD and 40% for OBC,SC,ST. Now if you belong to OBC Category, the Category you belong to should be also listed in the Central OBC list. Or else you will be considered as General Category and so you have to secure a minimum aggregate of 50% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. This 50% is inclusive of the Theory and Practical marks scored in Physics, Chemistry and Biology collectively. You needn't score 50% in Physics, 50% in Chemistry and 50% in Biology separately. You need an aggregate of 50% or 40% depending on your Category as an aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. And along with Physics, Chemistry and Biology, you should also have studied English as one of the core subjects in your 12th. Once this criteria has been fulfilled, even if you pass your 12th in 2nd attempt or score good in NEET in the 2nd attempt, it doesnt matter. There are many Candidates who pass 12th in their 2nd attempt or secure good marks in NEET in 2nd attempt and are studying MBBS in GMCs now. And if you are preparing for NEET, you may as well try our NEET Knockout package: https://learn.careers360.com/knockout-neet-may/ . And because you have 2 more months to prepare for NEET, you may as well use this opportunity

hi,

see there is various careers paths available in science or srts or commerce stream which lead yu to a course for diploma or graduation. see all of the profession or works has significant values in social life and has beneficial for society. another thing to become successful in life you must have the passion for the work or studies you want to go for. unless you may not fully enjoy the course or may not get a good result. so if the paramedical course is the one in which you want to do in next higher study after 12th you should go for it. diploma in paramedical pass candidates may work in railway sectors, airlines in india, hospitals , sports related organization etc. however chose the college carefully where decent placement and internship opportunities available.

hello I am the student in inter2nd year during lockdown all the teachers are saying in online so many days I didnt studied due to deviating on other thoughts but now I had interested to teach myself ad and explaining the lessons on white board Is it good idea or not?

Anurag Khanna 2nd Jul, 2020

Hello Aspirant,

In this unexpected lockdown we have a chance to develop the opportunity from this global pandemic, some people will grab that opportunity and make their life and some exploits there life in these circumstances.

So if you have an idea to teach yourself than it is very good, see if you had interest to understand the concepts by yourself so you can use white board and markers to teach that concepts on YouTube like platforms which will increase an understanding of your concept and a side career will be developed for you. But note that you should start this work with full determination and for you better understanding not with any greed of money making through different platforms.

I hope this answer cleared your doubts.

Good Luck!!

How do you calculate rank in JEE MAIN?? Most Important...when students applying for JEE MAIN keep increasing ,does rank still comes the same when less people would have given the exam ? One of the teachers sent me that for 92 %ile your rank would be 70k app. ?? But how do they know this 70k fig

Ritik nakra Student Expert 29th Jul, 2020
Hey! Your doubt is obvious but don't worry we can calculate rank from percentile with the formula mentioned below. You can check your rank with this formula.
((100 P)/100)*N + 1
Here,
P = Your NTA score
N = Total Number of Students
And yes it totally depends upon total no. of students applying for exam. Hope this may help you.
