Technician
Hi there,
No course has assured that you will be able to earn more. It is the skills that matter the most. Talking about your mentioned courses I am going to explain each with points.
Usually, they work in operation theatre in hospitals and several emergency departments and sometimes in ICU as well. Their main focus of work is to assist the doctors during surgery or any operation. Also, they are responsible to do arranging, sterilizing the instruments and cleaning etc.
Though diploma courses are job oriented one has to understand the future value as well. The subjects in the course are:
Usually, they work in the ICU or intensive care unit and their work is mostly focused on that area only. Though it is not simply their region is specifically for ICU's only. So in this case the job improvements are low.
I would suggest you go with an OT technician as there you will be able to explore and learn more.
Salary point: The salary varies from the level of the hospital and the sector. Government sector employees get better salary mostly ranges in the 20,000- 30,000 per month. Private sector employees usually get lower salaries that lie in 15,000 to 20k mostly.
Hope this answer helps.

From a career prospective if you are not wiling to go for higher education then go for OT Technician. See Diploma in Physiotherapy will be a better course if you go for the UG course atleast. It has a better prospective both private practice and in hospital setup's aswell. But if you want that the Diploma is all you will do then you must go for OT Technician. It will pay you more as per the degree and time investment is concerned. The packages will also become better with time. So if you are wiling to go for an UG course then go for Physio else go for OT technician.

If you are a freshers to the field then as per the information available from various job websites, the salary package may range in between Rs 1.5 to 3 LPA. But as for most of the paramedical positions, its very normal that with a 1 years of experience the pay package increases considerably. SO the initial packages may not be up to the level but after 1 year of experience it would increase by Rs. 1-1.5 LPA from your starting salary. So you can expect a pacakage of around Rs. 3-4.5LPA after 1 year of experience.
