For admission to the UG Programme, candidates must pass the Sathyabama All India Entrance Exam (SAEEE) after submitting their online applications. On selection, shortlisted candidates are required to come to the campus to verify their documents and pay their course fees after counselling.

An eligible candidate must apply for PG programmes through an online application form on the website. PG admission is based on the qualifying exam marks. Once selected, candidates are required to visit the campus to verify their documents and pay the fees.

To be eligible for the MTech Educational Technology programme at NIIT University candidates must have obtained 50 per cent in Class 10th, 12th, bachelor’s degree and master’s degree (if any). Candidates need to hold a bachelor’s degree in a relevant Engineering stream. Professionals with a three-year bachelor’s degree must have IT training and professional practice of a minimum of two years in the ET industry. Pre-service applicants are required to appear for the NIIT University ET admission competency test and a subsequent screening interview.

For admission to B. Tech courses candidates can also appear for SRMJEEE. The criteria for admission to SRM University is based on the counselling on your rank scored in the SRMJEEE entrance exams. For different campuses, however, JEE Mains score is also taken into consideration.
