In TS EAMCET counselling 15% unreserved seats are filled first with combined merit list of candidates followed by 85 % seats belonging to local region. Candidates belonging to non-local region are considered as general category regardless of their category and their admission be under general category. The seat allocation depends on factors such as preferences of the institute/branch, rank of the candidate, category of the candidate, local/non-local status and seat availability. Depending on these factors you will be allotted a seat under 15% unreserved seats if you belong to non-local category. To have decent chances to get seat you have to exercise more number of option ensure that you have selected only the institutes/branch in which you are interested to seek admission in the order of preference.
